I chuckled as she nibbled on a few Ebi and California rolls—the only kind of sushi she would eat. She ignored my teasing that it wasn’t really sushi since the shrimp was cooked and the other was just vegetables. She ate heartily, but began to feel ill a couple hours after dinner, and had been up most of the night. I blamed the Ebi.

Bad shrimp was hell.

Between her retching, and the contents of Gracie’s diaper this morning, I was feeling a little under the weather myself. Whoever said this shit, pardon the pun, got easier, was a fucking liar. Katy seemed to handle it all fine, but I still gagged on occasion. How something so small and adorable could produce nuclear explosions the way Gracie did was a mystery.

I grew to love Richard in The Contract, even though he started out as a real unlikable arse!
Seeing how life with Katy softened him and how she became his world was great.

Now in The Baby Clause we got to see yet another side to the man who never thought he’d find love never mind a wife and family! His concern about not being a good parent was sad but Mr VanRyan should have learned by now that sometimes he isn’t always right and he should always listen to his wife!

Sweet, fun and with some real heart warming scenes, TBC is a great addition to The Contract series and a must read for those who enjoyed Richard and Katy’s story from the start.

Well written, with feeling, warmth and loads of cute daddy and baby bonding, this is a fabulous wee read from one of my favourite go-to authors, Melanie Moreland

“I won’t hurt you, Sloan. I promise.”

There was no logical reason for her to trust him, but he’d been careful with her up to this point. Perhaps he’d be careful with her with what came next. She nodded mutely, watching as he rolled on a condom that he’d retrieved from his pocket. Her body hummed in anticipation and trepidation, but she didn’t let it show as he moved back to join her on the bed.

Jude palmed her between her legs, his big fingers exploring her. It didn’t seem possible that he could spark pleasure with a few specific touches, but it didn’t take much to have her relaxing, letting him once again take the lead. He kissed her neck. “Feels good, huh?”

Gods, how I love a well written PNR story and Jessie Lane has given us another fantastic read in the Big Bad Bite series with The Demon Who Loved Me. Though some of the scenes in the first half of the book crossed with Walk on The Striped Side, the second book in the series that was Gage and Elena’s story, it never lost my interest and it was entertaining to see what had happened in that book from another character’s POV.

The Demon Who Loved Me was funny, hot, engaging, had a touch of mystery & some crime solving and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Neither Kent nor Chloe were looking for any kind of serious relationship, hell, our heroine wasn’t looking for anything from a member of the opposite sex having been let down previously.
The chemistry and attraction between this pair was obvious to them both from their first encounter (which we saw initially in WoTSS) and watching our heroine try to avoid, outsmart and one up the demon who was/wasn’t stalking her (you can make your own mind up on that one!) was entertaining.

I love Gage and Elena (and I’m totally on board with her very rational fear of spiders!! 😉 ) but if I’m being totally honest, I would have liked just a little more time with Kent and Chloe together, getting to know each other (and not only in the biblical sense!), as at certain points it didn’t feel that this book was totally theirs – which very possibly had something to do with there being so much going on in the story arc / timeline crossover between stories – but in saying that, none of that dampened my interest or engagement in the book.

Ms Lane gives us fun storylines, smoking hot sexy times, likable and amusing characters and these elements all add up to a really great read that I would most certainly recommend. I cannot wait for more in this fab series!

It’s not long before Sean sees the error of his ways.

It’s too bad, though, that by the time he realizes she’s the one, Naomi’s already gone.

I’m sure I say this with every book but The Dixie Warden Rejects MC series just keeps getting better and better!! I FLOVED I’m Only Here For The Beard

Sean and Naomi’s story was fab! I loved the build up to them being more than partners at work. They got on, had some laughs, worked really well together. The connection and attraction was there from early on in their working relationship but both having been hurt before, neither of them was really looking for a relationship when they met but it wasn’t long before both of them were falling at the same time….

A couple of times I could have yelled at both of them, for the love of the gods people, talk to each other… but the story would be a helluva lot shorter if they didn’t balls things up and not communicate – and it lead to some great gestures and smokin’ hot make up sex… 😉

As ever, all of the MC guys and their significant others are involved, with catch ups for some and glimpses into stories to come. One of my fave things about these books is the camaraderie, the family (usually not of blood but by choice), the knowledge that whateverthehellgoeswrong for these guys (and their ladies) their ‘brothers’ are gonna step up and help them out.

Another LLV read that I was hard pressed to put down… if real life would stop while I was reading her books I’d get through them even quicker than I do now! 😀

A definite 5* read for me, I can’t wait for the next instalment to see how things go for Jesse James.

“You know, if you want to see me naked and sweaty, all you have to do is ask, darlin’.”

“I do not . . . I wasn’t . . .” My words are stolen from me as he stalks forward with a maddening smirk on his face. “What are you doing?”

“Getting tired of waiting for you to be okay with this.”

“August, we talked about boundaries.” I press my hand to his chest because he’s too close, and I can’t think straight with the heady scent of his sweat and sandalwood soap distracting me.
