Melody Simmons desperately needs to fill her bank accounts with credits that could help her family climb out of near poverty. And in the Virgin Hunt Games, that means enticing as many hunters as possible to bed her. The downside? Billions of viewers from all parts of the galaxy would be watching her fall from virtue with avid interest.
Alien Damon Banscott despises everything about the Virgin Hunt Games. Except the fact he can now legally destroy his enemy in the games. He is in this only for revenge. Then Damon sees one of the beautiful hunted and, for a moment, his heart stops beating. He’ll fight to the death before allowing another hunter to touch and deflower Melody.
But while the hunters get more credits by pleasing their captive mate sexually, the hunted women received more by finding their pleasure with any of the hunters who weren’t their assigned mate.
Let the games begin…

EXCERPT:
“Oh no, you don’t,” Bastion said with a snarl, lunging for her.
She didn’t cry out when his huge hand engulfed her ankle and hauled her all too easily toward him. Instead, she drew on all her training and relaxed her muscles. She only wished she had a knife to throw. She’d practiced that skill relentlessly in her law enforcement training.
She hid a grim smile. Let the bastard imagine she was a weakling. It was only after he’d dragged her free that she bent her other leg and struck out hard with her boot.
The spiked heel slashed Bastion’s face, carving across his jaw right to the top of his bristled cheek. Blood gushed and he released her with a roar, his dark queue swinging.
She hoped the pain would distract him long enough for her to get away.
It didn’t.
She scrabbled back under the machinery, but before she’d gotten even halfway, he reached for her again, grabbing her upper arm. Her breath hissed at his brutal grip, and it took all her willpower not to claw at his hand but instead clutch at the pencil tucked in her hair.
He yanked her toward him, too enraged to realize she’d lifted the pencil until she punched down and stabbed it into his hand, piercing the sharp point all the way through to his palm. He bared his teeth at her, and her throat closed up at his cold, hard eyes with their promised glitter of retribution.
He let her go to jerk the pencil free. More blood sprayed as he fisted his hands.
Shit. She pushed to her feet and as he swung at her she dove through the air. Too late. His fist connected with her cheek, snapping back her head before she hit the ground hard.
Air whooshed from her lungs. Her ears rang, and sticky warmth trickled from her nose. She fought to stay conscious and bring her blurred vision back into focus. Damn it all to hell! She should have anticipated the violent backhand, should have tried to block it instead of avoiding it.
But though dizziness pressed on her skull, she became aware she was no longer alone with the sadistic alien. Damon had arrived. Every cell within her tingled at his presence, even before the thump of fists on flesh reverberated in the air.
She rolled over, blinking back another round of dizziness. Pain bloomed from her cheek outward, where Bastion’s backhand had almost taken her head from her shoulders.
The two huge hunters fought with a rage that was palpable, Damon attacking Bastion with a strength and skill that was incredible to behold. Neither of the men were holding back.
Damon spun and lashed out, kicking the other hunter high in the throat—Bastion’s one vulnerable point. But though Bastion staggered back, he quickly recovered and flew at Damon with a snarl of rage, throwing his huge fists relentlessly at the other hunter. She winced when more than a couple of punches made contact with Damon’s torso. Holy shit. Just one of those hits would knock an ordinary mortal to the ground.
But Damon fought back, giving as good as he got. Though Bastion was taller and heavier, Damon was faster, more skilled. Hard to believe he was the underdog.

AUTHOR INFO:

Mel Teshco loves to write scorching paranormal, sci-fi and contemporary stories. Not easy with five cats, two dogs and a fat black thoroughbred vying for attention, especially when Mel’s also busily stuffing around on Facebook. With only one daughter now living at home to feed two minute noodles, she still shakes her head at how she managed to write with three daughters and three stepchildren living under the same roof. Not to mention Mr. Semi-Patient (the one and same husband hoping for early retirement…he’s been waiting a few years now…) Clearly anything is possible, even in the real world.
