DB Jones lives in the hills of Virginia and sits at her desk overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains where she loves writing. Her series are packed with mystery, intrigue, passion, suspense, and murder. She also writes for the young adult and young at heart through her vivid fantasy worlds. She says the diversity of genres challenges her imagination.
Before writing she and her husband composed and recorded melodic flute music for over 30 years until he passed away in 2002.
DB’s love of the creative side of life led her to music, painting and then writing. She only anticipated writing the one story that had lain in the back of her mind since childhood. But once she started hammering away at the keyboard, she discovered there were many other characters screaming to have their spotlight on the page.
Her first novel was the beginning of a Fantasy Trilogy, Willow of Endless Waters, but it didn’t take long after that until she burst onto the pages of Mystery and Crime Fiction.
DB loves sitting on her patio sipping wine with friends and family and watching her Koi rambling in and out of the many caves and grasses that fill her pond.

I love fresh squeezed lemonade, crushed ice, teacups, wineglasses, non-franchise restaurants, ice cream cones, boating, picnics, cookouts, throwing parties, lace, white wine, mojitos, strawberry margaritas, white linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and Pinterest. I also love to read and write and to spend time with my family. My books thus far, have been inspired by the things I love and the people who influence me, every single day to be a better person.
