SEAL Team Phantom 6
By Elle Boon
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Jase had his life mapped out in front of him. He was the leader of SEAL Team Phantom and planned to continue moving up in the ranks, until he met his mentor’s daughter. Falling for Brooke Frazee wasn’t on his agenda, but from the moment he saw the Admiral’s daughter, all bets were off.
Brooke’s life wasn’t always easy, but she dreamed of someday finding her happily ever after. She never planned on falling for a military man like her father, until she unexpectedly meets Jase Tyler at her door. The thought of being with him both terrified and excited her.
Jase knew Brooke was the woman for him. After declaring their love for each other they were forced to part ways, for reasons Brooke will never understand. Jase is left with his heart in shreds as he’s shipped off on a mission, unsure of his return. Will war make him forget everything he’s leaving behind or will his mission leave him branded as a traitor?
Brooke was shattered when Jase left, but she was forced to move on with her life even though her dreams had changed. She’s not prepared when the man from her past walks back through the door, or for the secrets they uncover while on the run from danger.
Jase, no longer a member of Phantom Team, but not knowing who else he can trust to protect what he holds dear, calls on his former SEAL Team. As they reunite as a unit and work together, they find out that nothing is what it seems.
If Jase and Brooke live through the coming days, will their love be able to endure when the dust settles?
“She shot me, man.” Erik leaned against the wall, holding his side.
Jase squatted down, moving Erik’s hand off the red stain. “Oh, shut up, pussy, it’s only a graze.”
Erik used the wall to get up, cursing the entire time. “Mothereffer, that shit hurts. I don’t get shot when I’m just chillin. I mean, have you ever?”
He raised his hand up. “Shut up. I can’t even believe we’re having this convo. Just chillin. You were in a room with a dead body for crying out loud.”
The other man nodded. “And? We weren’t in some godforsaken country getting shot at by a bunch of enemies, sweating our nuts off. Hence, chillin. Come on, why you walking away?”
“I need to check on my son and you need your head examined,” Jase called over his shoulder.
“You try getting shot when the adrenalin isn’t pumping. It hurts twice as bad,” Erik called to his back.
“Why is this guy whining like a little bitch?”
Jase stopped at the entrance to the hallway at the sound of Oz’s voice. “What the hell you doing here?”
Oz shrugged. “Something seemed off with that one. I thought I’d follow and make sure the little guy was alright and shit.”
Jase’s chin hit his chest, emotion swelled inside him. “I fucking love you too, man.”
“Hey, I followed the kid, not you.” Oz raised his arms.
“Same diff.” Jase walked over, pulling Oz into his arms. “Thank you for coming to protect my son.”

The Arsenal, Book 1
by Cara Carnes
Genre: Contemporary, Romantic Suspense
Mary “The Edge” Reynolds is the most sought-after back office operative around- the creative genius pulling the ultimate bad-asses out of impossible situations.
She’s never failed on a mission, and she’s not about to fail on the most important mission ever-keeping her newly designed security system safe. Relying on others isn’t in her nature, but the newly formed Arsenal is her only hope for escape when she’s kidnapped.
She is the Edge.
The Edge never breaks.
Dylan Mason and his brothers have put everything on the line to form The Arsenal. When the paramilitary arena is rocked by Edge’s capture, he’ll do whatever it takes to get the fearless operative back, but his wary heart isn’t ready to handle the vulnerable woman buried beneath the hardened shell. Getting her back was simple. Keeping her and her “security system” HERA out of enemy hands is another story.
Together they must hunt down the faction behind her capture and subsequent torture to keep HERA from becoming an unstoppable terroristic threat. What they uncover could destroy them both.
“Bravo, Charlie has eyes on two packages. Repeat, two packages secured.” The gun lowered. Black marks ran below pasture green eyes and down across a firm, square jawline. Dark hair so brown it was almost black hung in disarray around the man’s handsome face.
Mary knew that face.
Relief washed through her. The sensation struck like a tsunami. Dizziness assailed her. Her stomach roiled, but she didn’t have the energy to puke.
Two packages secured. The man’s words ricocheted through her.
No. No. No.
“Three.” She rasped the words.
Intense green eyes settled on her, then returned to Glenn, who’d stood.
“Get on your knees,” the man repeated to her fellow cellmate.
“It hurts,” he whined.
“Not telling you again.” The threat hung in the room, a fourth presence Mary suspected would overpower the man cowering beside her.
“Three,” she repeated. Her throat burned and throbbed with the effort she expended.
The man released his grip on the rifle. It settled against his side from the strap wrapped around thick, muscular shoulders. And arms. Mary trembled when he reached into a pocket and pulled out a water bottle.
Long legs ate the space between them until her tunneling gaze saw only thighs. He palmed her chin. “You’re safe now, Edge. We’ve got you.”

Vampire Queen Series, Book XIV
by Joey W. Hill
Loss left them only rage…Until they found each other…
Cai doesn’t want to be with anyone. He doesn’t want a damn servant, he doesn’t want to be associated with damn vampires. Rand just wants to forget his human side, stay in his wolf form and find a satisfying and hopefully violent, bloody way to bring it all to an end.
But when a young female vampire’s life is at stake, the Vampire Council drafts Cai to enter a dark world he never wanted to visit again. Rand is too honorable to let him go alone, and the only way that can work is if he’s Cai’s fully marked servant, bound to the vampire for all eternity.
So fate decides these two lost souls need each other. Even if they have to tear each other apart to figure it out.

Holy crap… It couldn’t be. A freaking shifter.
There were rumors of their existence, so unsubstantiated they could be called fairy tales. Yet being a vampire, and knowing that a lot of what humans called imaginary creatures could exist, Cai wasn’t in the habit of asserting something couldn’t, just because he hadn’t seen it. Even so, he’d never heard of anyone who’d seen a wolf shifter.
He was seeing one now.
The transformation energy cocooned the wolf like rope, tightening, pulling his body in multiple directions. If every shift was this brutal, Cai had no idea why any wolf shifter would do so voluntarily, and maybe they didn’t. But he had to wonder if the wolf’s obvious ferocious struggle against the transition was making it even more excruciating.
Maybe he thought he was more vulnerable to Cai in that form. He probably was, but…
Cai drew closer. The wolf seemed almost insensible to him now, so he dropped to his heels next to him and laid a hand on his fur. The covering felt much thinner, like a silk scarf instead of a thick pelt. That scarf was about to tear.
The magic coiled around the shifter snapped away, striking Cai with stinging heat before it dis-apparated the wolf. The shift had seemed gradual, torturous, but then, in a final blink, there he was. Cai was staring at a man lying against the corpse of another, their blood mixed together and soaking the earth beneath them.
Cai’s gaze traveled over the shifter. As a wolf, he’d been as big as a black bear. As a human, he kept the same impressive build. Snarled, long brown hair tangled over broad shoulders, his wide chest covered with a temptingly thick mat of gleaming chestnut hair that arrowed down to genitals and tree trunk thighs. In the naked male’s position, sprawled on one hip, Cai had a good view of his ass.
An ass worth saving.
