RELEASE DAY BLITZ ~ Office Intrigue by Nicole Edwards

IT HAS ARRIVED!

Nicole Edwards is releasing her HOTTEST story yet!
So hot that it took over 230,000 words to tell and spans two books!

The question is… Can you handle it?

Book 1

Do you get up every morning, spend close to an hour or more getting ready, pick out the perfect outfit, make sure your makeup is suitable, then style your hair just so? Do you slip your feet into your favorite heels, lock your modest one-bedroom apartment, climb into your practical car? Do you drive twenty minutes to downtown, find a spot in the company parking garage?

If you do, then you’re very much like me.

However, I think our stories will differ significantly once you get to your office and I get to mine.

Sure, it’s possible you work in a high-rise office building in the heart of downtown. It could be any downtown office in any big city, in fact. New York, Chicago, Dallas. The location doesn’t matter. It’s even feasible to think that you’re a secretary for a multi-billion-dollar PR firm. You could even have four bosses like I do. Four mouth-watering, malebosses, even.

But, like I said, at that point, our stories will likely be drastically different.

In order for you to understand why, I’ll have to start at the beginning…

Book 2

Having spent the last two and a half months with my bosses, the thought of spending the holidays alone isn’t ideal. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I feared I would be doing.

Or so I thought.

I probably should’ve learned long ago not to underestimate the men I work for.
They do have a way of surprising me when I least expect it.

While I find myself immersed in a lifestyle I am still getting familiar with, spending time with my bosses is proving to be more than I’d originally anticipated. Not only am I experiencing what it means to offer my submission freely, I’m also experiencing something else.

Something that feels a lot like love.

Until they switch things up and make me choose between them. That’s not something I’m capable of doing. After all, not only am I falling in love with one of my bosses, it appears my heart already belongs to two. Except one of those two seems to be rejecting me and I’m at a loss. If only I could let things go back to the way they were in the beginning, return to our original arrangement. If I could do that, it might work out.

Too bad my heart doesn’t seem to be listening to reason.

PROMO TOUR – Kaufman By Nicole Edwards

Spencer Kaufman

When I signed on to the NHL, I promised to give 150% to the
game. I’ve done that.
Little did I know, but they would ask more from me than
merely my skill on the ice. The team wanted me to be their captain. It’s an
honor, one I’ve done my best to fulfill. Although I can’t take all the credit,
I was there to lead when we won the Stanley Cup.
I’m still at the helm now, when we’ve hit rock bottom. I
know I have let my fears get in the way. I’ve let down the team, even if they
don’t realize what I’ve done.
Now that the new season’s underway, I’m being called out. I
deserve it. I can deal with that. It won’t be easy, but I’ll persevere.
What I can’t deal with is her.
She surprised me.
She came out of nowhere and blindsided me.
And there’s one serious issue.
Now that I have her, I refuse to let her go.
*This is a full-length, standalone novel. It is part of the
Austin Arrows series, but can be read independently.

The SEASON: Kaufman (Austin Arrows, 2) Chapter 1
Noelle
Thursday, October 6th
“I MADE AN EXTRA CHICKEN breast. You want one or two?” I
chuckle, can’t help it. “Seriously. One or two? Can I possibly ask a dumber
question?”
That unladylike snort … yeah, that was me.
While I fork my chicken breast onto my own plate, I don’t
bother waiting for a response. I know what the answer will be. Two. Always two.
Extra protein is never a bad thing.
After adding a heaping spoonful of steamed vegetables to my
plate, I grab my wineglass and head to the table. I’m starving because I missed
lunch today. That sometimes happens with my job. There are days that’ll go by
when I’m bored to tears, standing behind the bar, and others when I can hardly
stop long enough to take a breath. Sometimes I’ll snag some fried pickles if I
get a chance. Today was the lack-of-breath kind of day. Go, go, go. All day
long.
As I step out of my small galley kitchen, a knock sounds on
my door. My bare feet squeak on the linoleum as I come to an abrupt halt. I
manage to do that fancy lift and tilt thing to keep my wine from sloshing over
the edge.
Disaster averted.
“Noelle! Honey, it’s Mom and Dad!”
Or not.
“Crap, crap, crap.” I glance between my front door and the
small, two-seat table in my breakfast nook currently set up with, nope, not one
but two place settings. For the record, two is not a good number when the
single girl’s mom comes banging on the door.
“Open up, Noelle! We thought we’d surprise you!”
Okay, well, I have to say my parents definitely accomplished
their goal, because I am completely befuddled as I stand here debating what I
should do. To a normal person, it might be a no-brainer. Open the door, let the
’rents come on in.
I’m not so sure this situation is going to qualify me as
normal.
To answer or not to answer? That is the question.
On the other hand, I could be as quiet as possible and
pretend I’m not home. Which, with my luck, won’t work. The fact that all the
lights in my apartment are blazing and my baby blue Prius is parked directly in
front of my window doesn’t help my cause any. Since no one else in the world
drives a baby blue Prius, I can’t very well hide it.
Crap.
But I could’ve gone out with friends, right? Could I be so
lucky that they’d think that? It is a possibility. Maybe. Or, better yet, maybe
they’ll think I’m at the Penalty Box. I tend to work a lot.
Yes, that’s definitely more logical.
Except, yep, you nailed it, the car is here.
Then again, if I weren’t so pathetic and didn’t choose to
spend all my free time at home—unless I’m at my best friend Ellie’s—it might be
an easier sell. They know me. I’m not the going-out type. Plus, they’ve
probably already stopped by the bar to see if I’m there. They know that I much
prefer a microwaved dinner at home, especially on a rare evening that I don’t
spend waiting tables and slinging beer because I choose to.
Another knock makes my heart skip a beat.
“Stay calm. It’s cool.” I’ve been telling myself that far
too much lately.
“Noelle! Are you all right, honey?”
Knowing my grumpy upstairs neighbor is likely going to have
a cow any second now, I rush to the front door, unlock the deadbolt, and turn
the knob. Instantly, Marie Dexter barrels into me, pulling me into her arms,
crushing my face to her generous bosom.
My mother smells like roses. A sweet, familiar scent that
makes me hug her back, despite the inconvenient timing of her arrival.
“Hi, Mom,” I say, my words muffled against her boobs.
She pulls back to look at me. “What took you so long? I was
getting worried.”
My dad slips past my mother, giving me a knowing smirk. Ed
Dexter loves when Marie goes all motherly on me. Come to find out, when my
sister and I aren’t around, he gets to be the one Marie mothers. Not that he
minds. They’ve been married for thirty-six years, so he’s used to it, or so he
says.
“Ooh. You got new curtains.” My mother gently pulls away to
admire the floor-to-ceiling cream sheers hanging on the wide front window.
I follow her gaze, glaring at my car sitting right there.
Traitor.
I focus on the comforting hand my mother has on my arm.
Always keeping me close, that woman.
I’m the oldest—my sister, Julie, who is seven years younger
than me, was an oops baby—which should’ve meant my mother didn’t coddle me
quite so much. That isn’t the case. Never has been. I’m not sure if it’s
because there’s such a huge age gap between me and Julie, but whatever the
reason, my mother likes to baby both of us equally. I’m thirty-four. You’d
think she would’ve toned it down by now. Nope. In fact, I think she might be
getting more motherly.
Honestly, she’s been this way since I was little. And,
truthfully, I was the normal kid. The kind who wanted to do nothing more than
be outside. Yep, totally me. Right up until sixth grade, when we moved to
Austin, next door to the girl who would quickly become my best friend in the
world. Either there was something in the Texas water or someone injected me
with a doofus hormone, because upon moving here, I became stupid, which
translates to: boy crazy. I think my mother worried about me more then. That
lasted about two years. Three tops. When it became glaringly obvious that Tony
Something-or-other wasn’t going to fall madly in love with the short, frumpy
girl with glasses and braces, I decided to focus on my schoolwork and left the
flirting with boys up to my best friend, Ellie. She was much better at it than
me.
Luckily, I’m not so frumpy anymore, and I’ve shed the braces
and glasses. Sure, I’m still short, and my boobs never did really develop, but
that no longer bothers me. I’m me. That’s what matters.
What does bother me is the fact that Mom and Dad pop in
unannounced all the freaking time. Of all nights, why did it have to be now?

JARED (Coyote Ridge/Dead Heat Ranch, 2)
Prologue

Two and a half years ago

“WHERE ARE YOU going?” Sable screamed, her voice grating on his last nerve.

“I’m done. Fucking done, Sable,” Jared Walker informed his soon-to-be ex-wife. And that couldn’t come soon enough.

The second his boss had fired him, telling Jared that he could no longer deal with his crazed wife stopping by unannounced every day trying to start a fight, Jared had decided he’d had enough. The guy wasn’t wrong to fire him. Hell, he’d been putting up with Sable’s bullshit far longer than he should have. She was jealous and spiteful and fucking selfish. Yes, that’s what she was.

Damn it.

Everything was just so fucked up. Jared wasn’t sure how things had gone to shit so quickly, but they definitely had. The woman he’d married had shed her skin not two weeks into their marriage, demanding that she be taken care of. The second that ring was on her finger and the marriage license was signed, Sable had changed from the easy going, somewhat kind hearted woman to an ex-employee at the makeup counter at Macy’s to a fucking diva who wanted him to make her breakfast in bed on the weekend.

No doubt about it, he’d been blinded by … what? What the hell had he seen in her? Even now, three years later, he had no clue what he’d been drawn to other than her smoking-hot body and her Hoover-worthy mouth. Oh, and she’d given him attention—batting her eyelashes and offering her relentless come-hither stare—something he’d been missing. Or thought he had anyway. In hindsight, the lack of attention from the opposite sex had been self-imposed. Jared had just turned thirty when they met, and he’d been going through the motions, trying to figure out where his life was headed and how he wanted it to go. Marriage had certainly been an idea he was looking forward to, should he find the right woman.

Enter Sable Hillman, with her perfectly applied lipstick and fancy hair. She’d clearly walked into his life at the right time. Or the wrong time, depending on how you looked at it.

He was definitely an idiot.

Sable didn’t want to work, but she didn’t want to stay home, either. She thought they belonged to the country club elite or some shit. He could see how she’d come to that conclusion. Jared’s parents were well off, and they’d set their children up accordingly. Jared had money—mostly family money—but he’d also been working since the day he turned sixteen. He hadn’t had a rough life, by any means, but his father had instilled in him the need to make a good living. Damn good thing his father had demanded he have a prenuptial agreement. Jared hadn’t thought it necessary, but at the last minute, he’d caved. For a second, he’d thought Sable was going to back out. He should’ve known better. The woman was more than willing to spend every penny he had while they were married. She didn’t need to wait until afterward.

“Fuck you, Jared.”

“No,” he turned to her. “Fuck. You. And every asshole who’s had the displeasure of fucking you over the last three fucking years.”

Three years he’d been dealing with this shit. If it weren’t for the fact Sable had gotten pregnant, Jared would’ve been long gone. Only he’d stayed because of his son. Derrick was the highlight of every single day. Jared went to work every morning, and when he came home, Sable generally went out while he enjoyed the peace and quiet and time he got to spend with his boy. It was the perfect routine, and since it got Sable out of his hair, Jared never complained.

“I want joint custody,” he informed her as he went to the closet and began tossing his clothes out. He was packing his shit and moving out. He had no choice. He would go stay in his parents’ guesthouse until the divorce was final. It would allow him to be close enough to Derrick so he could see him every other weekend and every Wednesday.

“Ha!” Sable sneered. “Like that’s ever gonna happen.”

Goddamn, that was going to hurt. He hated the idea of being away from Derrick for that long. He’d been hoping Sable would be level-headed about this, letting him spend time with his boy whenever he wanted. He should’ve known better.

Jared cast an angry glare over his shoulder. “I’ll fight you for full custody if that’s what you want.”

“Go ahead and try it,” she snapped. “Considering he’s not your kid, I’m not sure that’ll work out real well for you.”

Jared spun around so fast Sable had to take a step back.

“What did you say?” The impact of her words had caused his hands to shake, and there was a red haze clouding his vision, anger and…

Damn, it felt a hell of lot like fear clouded his mind.

Sable always said nasty shit to him. It seemed she got off on putting him down. Normally, he didn’t rise to the bait, but this… He hoped like hell she was lying.

“You heard me. You think you’re all high and mighty. Derrick isn’t yours. You’re not his father. So fuck you, Jared. You don’t get shit out of this deal.”

He had to sit down or his legs were going to give out. Jared managed to back up to the bed and drop down onto the mattress, staring at the woman he had vowed to love forever, a woman he no longer even liked.

“I want a paternity test,” he insisted. That would prove that Derrick was his. He had to be.

Sable rolled her eyes. “I’m marrying him.”

Jared tried to process her words, but they didn’t make sense.

“Derrick’s father. He’s been begging me to leave you. I should’ve done it before now. And yes, you’ll get your paternity test. I’ll prove to you that he ain’t yours.”

She should’ve left before now? She wasn’t the one leaving, Jared was.

“You’ll have nothing,” she spat.

Jared held back his retort, not sure what he could say. The woman had managed to single-handedly rip his heart right out of his chest and grind it into dust.

Derrick isn’t yours.

The fact that his marriage had disintegrated … Jared could get over.

Losing Derrick… That was a wound that would never heal.

* * *

Six months later

“Despite the fact that the paternity test states you are not the father,” Edna Holloway—the expensive lawyer he’d hired—clarified, “Sable is willing to give you full custody.”

Jared waited for her to continue. He was waiting for the “but.” There was always a “but.”

“However, in exchange, she wants twenty-five thousand dollars.”

“Done,” Jared said instantly.

“Jared, you should spend some time thinking about this,” Edna said kindly.

“Don’t need to. My name’s on his birth certificate. He’s my son. Find out where I need to wire the money.”

Edna pulled a sheet of paper from the pile she’d brought with her. “I think we need to ask that she give up her parental rights. That will protect you going forward. She has already made it clear that she doesn’t want Derrick.”

And by made it clear, Jared knew that Edna was referring to the fact that Sable had flat out told him that she didn’t have time for Derrick in her life. The man she’d claimed was Derrick’s father had insisted on a paternity test, also. The results had stated he was not the father. Which meant Sable had lied once again. The new man—some rich, older guy—in her life didn’t want kids, which meant Derrick had suddenly become expendable in her eyes.

“I agree,” he told her. “Do what you need to do, and tell Sable I want this done immediately. While we’re waiting for the legal system to putter along and do their thing, I want him living with me. In Coyote Ridge.”

Since he had moved to the small town where most of his extended family lived, in an attempt to put some distance between himself and Sable, Jared had started to build a life for himself. Although he wouldn’t be close to his parents, he wasn’t too far away. And he had a great job. Being in Coyote Ridge would also lessen the chance of him running into Sable again.

She nodded, jotting down notes before removing her reading glasses and depositing them into her purse. “I’ll keep you apprised of the proceedings. I’ll ask that Sable relinquish custody over to you today.” She glanced at her watch. “Why don’t I try for four o’clock. Will you still be in town?”

“Of course,” he said, his heart pounding. “Anything for Derrick.”

Little did his lawyer know, but Jared would’ve given ten times that much to get his son back. Granted, there was absolutely no reason to let Sable know that. The manipulative bitch would only ask for more.

After losing her husband fifteen short months after they were married, Tessa has spent the last four years chasing dreams in order to maintain her sanity. Only those dreams are soon ripped right out of her grasp by a sexy country music star who claims he descended on her small town by accident.

Wait for Morning:

Blurb:

Trace Kogan will go to any length to protect those who need protecting. That is the business he is in; the business his father, Casper Kogan, started with Bryce Trexler more than thirty-five years ago. Trace spends day and night eliminating threats to clients, so when the danger hits too close to home, he won’t let anything come between him and the woman who desperately needs his help.

His fear… the physical reaction he has to Marissa may pose a bigger danger than the ghost that they find themselves up against.

Marissa Trexler has spent the last twelve months of her life in hiding, tucked away in one safe house after another for her own protection. The threat to her is real even if the reason is still unknown. Strangely, whoever is after her seems to find her no matter where she goes, leading her family to believe it’s an inside job.

So when the decision is made that Trace will provide personal protection, she can’t say no, even if being close to him adds another level of danger… and this one is to her heart.

Beautifully Brutal:

Blurb:

Sometimes love isn’t beautiful…
Sometimes the only way to describe it is beautifully brutal.

If you think you know him… You’re wrong.
If you think you know his family… Wrong again.
If you think you know his story… You don’t.

If you did, you’d likely wonder how the hell a man like Maximillian Adorite managed to make it to this point in his life. At twenty-nine, he’s experienced more than most people could only ever imagine, all thanks to his family. Organized crime they call it. Mafia.

No matter how they spin it, it comes down to one thing. Max gets what he wants. Except for the one thing he wants most.

Her name is Courtney Kogan.

And now that he’s had a taste of her, Max knows he’ll never be able to let her go.

BLOG TOUR ~ Speechless (Pier 70 #3) by Nicole Edwards

Title: Speechless

Series: Pier 70 #3

Author: Nicole Edwards

Genre: Adult, M/M Romance

Published: June 7, 2016

He’s suffering in silence…

Teague Carter, one of the four owners of Pier 70 Marina, has spent his life feeling rejected. To the point that he has never allowed himself to get close to anyone. He prefers it that way, in fact. But he refuses to believe that his destructive behavior might be something more than rebellion.

He’s unable to speak…

Hudson Ballard, Pier 70’s mechanic, has been fighting his attraction to Teague for years. He has stood by and watched the kid get more and more out of control, but this time is the last. If Teague wants to use sex to escape his problems, Hudson is certainly willing to be the one to show him that he’s good with more than just his hands.

Sometimes words aren’t necessary.

There are fireworks when this out-of-control bad boy agrees to no strings with this tatted up, dominating mechanic.

Can Teague and Hudson keep their emotions from getting involved in their arrangement? Or — thanks to the demons from their pasts — will the darkness steal from them before they have a chance?

We invite you join the Nicole & Colt Edwards Group on Facebook. Don’t miss out on the fun and prizes at the Speechless Release Party happening Monday, June 7th starting at 8 AM CST till Tuesday, June 8th at 10 PM CST.

Speechless Excerpt #2 © Nicole Edwards 2016

Teague was exhausted.

He had hardly slept last night, and it only had a little to do with the fact that Hudson had summoned him over so he could watch him masturbate (which, by the way, was hot as fuck). No, after that, when Teague had gone back to his apartment and attempted to sleep, he continued to think about Hudson. The man had captured his every thought and all of his dreams. He had tossed and turned, waking up with his dick in his hand because he was so turned on it fucking hurt.

So, suffice it to say, he needed a nap, but he had agreed to help out with some of the appointments today. And that’s how he found himself sitting behind the wheel on the boat while a group of girls flirted it up with a group of guys on the pontoon they’d rented for the afternoon.

He was actually used to this type of outing. He’d even had women ask for him specifically, though he doubted they knew he was gay. Not surprising, since he didn’t bother to tell them. What was the fun in that? He’d never so much as touched a woman in his life, and he had no desire to do so, either.

From the time he was old enough to figure out what his dick was intended for, Teague knew he wasn’t interested in boobs and pussy. Nope. It’d always been dick for him.

He’d experimented early on, topping a couple of times, but quickly learned that he preferred to be fucked, to be taken hard and fast, drilled into… Bottoming was certainly what he wanted. The whole top thing … required too much control, and that was one thing he lacked. Even he knew that.

And women … they didn’t have the parts that would please him.

But he could definitely flirt when necessary because it was good for business.

His phone buzzed in his pocket, and he retrieved it while making sure no one was around him. After Hudson’s text last night, he had no idea what the guy might send over, and he damn sure didn’t want anyone else to see it. Still, he remembered the commanding message for him to come over and watch. At first, he’d thought it had been some sort of test. Without hesitating, he had gone over and… Holy fuck. If he’d been concerned about whether or not it had been wise to accept Hudson’s proposal, he was no longer worried. The guy was hung like a fucking horse, and he was dominating when it came to sex. No way could Teague go wrong there.

You cool?

The message was from Hudson, and it was the first time he’d heard from him today, so it made him smile. Hudson was checking on him.

Not that he would put too much thought into that.

Yep. All good. You?

I’d be better if you were in the shop today.

Teague’s mind conjured up a million ideas about what they could do if he was in Hudson’s tiny little office, or even out in the shop.

Figuring it was his turn to tease a little, he responded with: And what would you do if I was?

What would you want me to do?

Of course Hudson would answer the question with a question. Still, he responded honestly: Whatever you wanted.

A minute passed, and Teague figured Hudson wasn’t going to respond, but as he was putting his phone back in his pocket, it vibrated. He took a deep breath as he pulled up the text and stared at the screen.

You would be okay if I sit you on my desk and suck you off right here?

Alrighty then.

Teague was fairly certain he’d just had a hot flash.

Like, seriously.

He peered over at the people on the boat, making sure they weren’t paying any attention to him. On a normal outing, he would’ve been hanging out with them, enjoying the party, but he was too tired today. Or he had been right up until he’d imagined sitting on Hudson’s desk while Hudson sucked him off.

Fuck.

He tapped out a response with shaky hands: I think I could handle that.

We’ll see about that. Come find me when you get back. As soon as you get back.

Thankfully, Teague had his sunglasses on, because it gave him some privacy for his thoughts. He knew he was easy to read, and the last damn thing he wanted was for these people to see the intense lust burning in his eyes.

He glanced at his phone to check the time. Still at least an hour and a half before they would be heading back to shore.

Surely he could wait that long.
