I really loved Renegade so it was always gonna be hard in my mind to top but Tank gave a good fight.

The second book in the Moonshine Task Force series was a different kind of read and story.
Trevor and Blaze had a relationship and due to Tank’s protectiveness of his gal, that fell apart after an incident that took place in the first book.
Tank continues from the accident Trevor had near the end of Renegade and it guides us from him being found in the truck, through his recovery and the re-connection between him and Blaze.

This pair loved each other even when apart so that is never an issue, their story is about learning to be a couple, trusting that things will be good (and bad), letting the one you love breathe and do the things they love, even if the worry about them is overwhelming at times!

Great to catch up with Ryan & Whit and seeing how things were going for them.

Hot, steamy, sweet, a little sad (and at one point I wanted to slap Trevor for his idiot thinking that he could make Blaze jealous) Tank was a good read and I enjoyed it.

I can’t wait for the 3rd book now that we’ve had a wee teaser of what’s to come in Havoc’s story!!

I slipped out of bed and padded across the hall, stopping in the doorway. My chest tightened at the sight before me.

Seeing how life with Katy softened him and how she became his world was great.

Now in The Baby Clause we got to see yet another side to the man who never thought he’d find love never mind a wife and family! His concern about not being a good parent was sad but Mr VanRyan should have learned by now that sometimes he isn’t always right and he should always listen to his wife!

Sweet, fun and with some real heart warming scenes, TBC is a great addition to The Contract series and a must read for those who enjoyed Richard and Katy’s story from the start.

Well written, with feeling, warmth and loads of cute daddy and baby bonding, this is a fabulous wee read from one of my favourite go-to authors, Melanie Moreland

I’m absolutely loving this series!!! Lili Valente has me hooked on these hot as hell hockey players!! 😉

Sexy Motherpucker, Laura & Brendan’s story was so, so good.
The story was laugh out loud funny, sweet, a touch frustrating at times (man, this pair were crazy hot for each other but neither seemed able to take the lead for a while!) and heartwarming. I loved watching this pair being involved in each others lives while not ‘being involved’ even though the two of them would have been better off admitting their feelings and saved them both some lonely nights!

Brendan’s love and care for his daughter Chloe is lovely. The fact that Laura cares about the little girl too just adds to her appeal and makes her so much more likable. And as for Chloe herself, she was a cute wee character who had more common sense that the grownups at times! 😀

It was great to catch up with Justin & Libby as well as Brendan’s parents (and meet his ex in laws) and to get a little glimpse into Tanner & Dee’s book.
I love Lili’s writing and character development and I can’t wait for more in this series!

Sexy Motherpucker gets 5 well deserved stars in my opinion…

“How many drinks have you had?” Dane asks, grinning.

“Umm…” I count on my fingers, trying to recall.
“Maybe four? Or, like, five?” I shrug.

He takes a sip of the rum and Coke I made him, before bringing his eyes to mine. “I really a sorry, Emma. I feel like
shit about the whole thing.”

“Shit happens,” I say nonchalantly, not letting on how much the whole scenario humiliated me.

“Assholes cause it,” he agrees.

I giggle. “You’re funny! How is it you can be funny and hot? You can’t be both. You have to choose one or the other,” I announce bossily, but jokingly. Kinda.

“I guess I’ll choose funny then. Looks fade, after all.”

“Gah! You’re smart, too? This is so unfair!”
