Cover Reveal for Gold Shimmer by P.T. Michelle.
Posted by Book Loving Pixies
I never thought that my plan to crash a masked party to exact a bit of revenge would fall apart so easily. It was a foolproof plan. The absolute best scenario. Moon-and-stars-aligned worthy. No one would suspect I was anyone other than the wealthy, self-absorbed girl I pretended to be. The one who would wreak havoc that night. Then again, I also didn’t plan on running into a wall of sharp wit and steely determination named Calder. The dominant, charismatic Navy SEAL might’ve called me by Celeste’s name, but he refused to let me hide my true self from him. His special brand of honest, seductive charm was impossible to resist. He was confident and demanding…and everything I wanted. But the deeper I fell, the higher the stakes rose while playing a role. So I held onto our intense connection for as long as I could, knowing that he would never know me as Cass.
When an unexpected turn of events gives me a second chance to see Calder again, of course the opportunity comes with strings attached. I had no idea how dangerously tangled and deeply knotted those strings would become, but for the one man who gave me the courage to live my life for me again, I’d do just about anything.
Even become someone else.

RELEASE BLITZ – Mirage by Alice Tribue
Posted by Book Loving Pixies
I’m the woman your husband thinks about while he’s on top of you at night…
At least, that’s how I tell the girls I hire to think.
Being an escort is no easy job, and being a madame is no easier…
I’m in the business of selling fantasies and dreams to million dollar clients, and if you think what I do is harmful to society, then think again. (If it wasn’t for me, there’d be a lot more unhappy and unproductive businessmen and a lot more drug addicted prostitutes in the world)
I guard privacy and secrets with my own life, and I’ve never slipped up or got caught, not once.
But there’s something about the man I just met, something that makes me uneasy, especially since he’s interested in me…
And he’s offering me a whole lot more than anyone ever has before…
I’m just not sure if this is a risk worth taking–if letting him into my life is the right thing, or if the red flags I’m currently seeing are real or another mirage…
BLP REVIEW ~ TRACY
Though I had heard Alice Tribue’s name, until I picked up Mirage I had never read one of her books ~ this is something I will be remedying in the near future.
The blurb for Mirage had me intrigued – there are many books available where the main character is an escort but I’d personally never come across one where the female lead was a Madam. I have to say that I loved this story from the start.
Victoria is a very successful woman who has a very tough exterior but there are many layers her – she hides them all very well – and when you discover why she took the road to becoming a Madam it gives you a better insight to her character.
Nathan, ah, dark, mysterious, determined, dirty talking man that he is…. He’s another one with secrets and layers – and even though I wondered what his angle was right from their first meeting, I kept hoping that he was as good as he appeared to be!
“They see only what I want them to see.”
They get together after a fair amount of persistence on Nathans part ~ Victoria has so many secrets that need to be kept hidden and she trusts so few people that it’s hard for her to let anyone in – will she be making a terrible mistake letting Nathan get close to her?
When the shroud is lifted and his truths are exposed, her world is knocked for six, but she’s not the only one affected!
I read this story in less than a day – and that was allowing for interruptions from real life, bugger that it can be… – I honestly didn’t want to put the book down!!
A hot, emotional and sexy story, with a likeable supporting cast, some mystery, a couple of twists and a good plot ~ for me, this was a really great read and I give it 4.5*

COVER REVEAL – Worth It All by Claudia Connor (Loveswept)
Posted by Book Loving Pixies
Publisher: Loveswept
After a car accident stole his dreams of pro football, JT McKinney has made a new life for himself far away from his old one. He spends his time in a prosthetic research and development facility, his attention on machines instead of people until a chance meeting with a young mother and her five year old daughter who need his help. He’ll have to let go of the past if he wants a future.
“Told you he was interested,” Jenny said, sliding up beside her.
“He wanted to talk to me about Casey.”
“Then what are you doing over here? My God, he’s melting my eyeballs and he wants to be your hero? I’d kill you if I didn’t love you. Go.” Jenny gave her a not so gentle nudge in his direction and followed behind. “Hello, hotness. Paige here has to eat before she goes to her next job. Sit,” she told Paige. “And order something or I’ll do it for you.”
Paige sat down across from him and glanced at her watch. She only had about twenty minutes.
“Brussel sprouts it is.” Jenny pretended to write on her pad.
“Okay. Grilled cheese. To go. I’ll eat it in the car.”
“She’s single by the way. Just in case you want to store that info away for another day.”
“I’m sorry. Jenny is…”
“Not married,” Jenny offered with a wink, walking away.
They meet on a beach. . . . Abby Davis isn’t wearing a skimpy bikini or sipping umbrella drinks, not when she’s busy chasing around four little ones. And Matt McKinney isn’t looking for fun—he’s a Navy SEAL, a grown man with a long list of missions . . . and fallen brothers. They only have a week. . . . Abby has brought her children to this beach to start over, to give them the enjoyable memories they deserve. Matt’s been sidelined by a combat injury, and haunted by the best friend he lost and the promise he made: to remain a SEAL—focused and dedicated. This leaves no time for what he’s always wanted: a family. But a week is all it takes. . . . Matt opens her heart while Abby soothes his soul. And though they plan to say good-bye when the week is over, something magical happens on that beach, something neither can forget. Something utterly, completely worth falling for.

When a McKinney brother falls in love, powerful emotion and overwhelming desire are never far behind. Two hearts locked away . . . Hannah Walker spends her days coaching children through injury and trauma, one therapeutic horseback ride at a time. She knows all too well how violence can change a child and leave scars that never heal. It’s easy for her to relate to the kids; what isn’t easy is the thought of facing her own harrowing past.Millionaire playboy Stephen McKinney could use a little coaching himself. Five years ago he encountered his most horrible nightmare—and the nightmare won. No matter what he achieves, nothing can make up for that awful night . . . or so he believes.
Both desperate for a second chance . . . Stephen is used to getting what he wants. And he wants Hannah. So when she turns him down, he’s intrigued. What he doesn’t know is that her secrets will lead him to a place he never wanted to go again . . . to a side of himself he’s tried to forget . . . a side that would scare Hannah away from ever loving him. Now his only chance to win her trust is to bare his soul, risking everything he tried so hard to protect.

RELEASE BOOST – Savage Fire by Kathleen Kelly
Posted by Book Loving Pixies
Emily wants Dane to feel the pain she felt, she wants him to suffer as she did and decides to make the long drive to see him.
Will they be able to overcome the turmoil that awaits them or will their love be destroyed by forces beyond their control?
His face clouds over and he says, “You kind of fell asleep on them? What. Does. That. Mean?” He pauses between each word and growls them at me.
“Jonas took me to see Doc Jordan and he gave me something for the pain, but because I hadn’t slept in days it made me sleepy. I think he ended up carrying me to their clubhouse.” I realize how all this must sound. If someone told me that exact same story, I would be thinking the worst.
“Did they touch you, Amare?” he growls at me, his eyes blazing with anger.
“No, no, no! In fact, Jonas put a guard on my door so no one would go near me. Not that they would. I was safe, Sal.” Something crosses his face and he stares at me so intently that I look away and stare at the floor. He moves back into my space and lifts my head up. “Thank you for getting me coffee. Let’s go have breakfast and I’m buying. I think I shall keep you in my sights to make sure nothing else happens to you. I have never met a woman who allows herself to get into so many dangerous situations, in such a short space in time. You, my Amare, are a handful.” He moves away from me and does up his shirt, then grabs his jacket. He opens the door to his room and extends his arm. “Shall we?” he asks, offering me a smile that reveals his dimple. My core clenches again and I have to fight the urge to throw myself at him.
