Blurb:

For years, Jared has existed on the fringes of both Eden society and Dallas O’Kane’s Sector Four gang. He travels between these worlds, protected by his money and power–money he earned selling his body, and power that comes from knowing secrets. He’s untouchable—until he starts a new life gathering intelligence for the O’Kanes.

Lili Fleming walked out of Sector Five with a gun, the bloodstained clothes on her back, and an icy determination to survive. She finds herself in a world where people live hard and love harder, and nothing’s more terrifying than how much the O’Kanes wake her up, make her feel—especially Jared.

Emotion is a risk he can’t afford, and a complication she doesn’t need. But neither can resist the lust simmering between them, and the sparks that could either melt the ice around both their hearts…or get them killed.

Because the only thing more dangerous than loving an O’Kane is loving a spy.

EXCERPTS:

“So how long have you been spying for Dallas?”

Cruz’s casual words startled Jared enough to throw him off balance. He almost missed blocking the man’s next blow, and wood scraped over wood as their staffs collided.

Jared spun around and tried to recover his composure. As tactics went, this one was murderously lethal—throw out something shocking, as boldly as possible, then take advantage of your opponent’s distraction to strike your killing blow.

“You’re a good soldier,” he murmured, tightening his fingers around his weapon. The staff was solid red oak—deadly and perfectly balanced. “I bet you’re an even better interrogator.”

“Not really.” Cruz planted his staff on the floor and met Jared’s gaze squarely. “My psych evaluations were consistently disappointing. I’ve always been burdened with an overabundance of empathy. The Base has plenty of soldiers not operating with that particular handicap.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.” Wiping his face with his arm did fuck-all to clear Jared’s vision, because every inch of his bare skin was dripping with sweat. He could make it through a solid hour of forms, no problem, but sparring with Cruz was a far more intense workout. “What gave me away?”

“Nothing obvious.” Cruz shrugged one big shoulder. “I doubt anyone else will notice. But I know a lot of people inside Eden, so I hear the gossip. And I watch you.”

“Good to know.” He made a rush, swinging one end of his staff up toward Cruz’s unprotected side. Cruz pivoted smoothly, his block effortless, his movements lazy as he flipped into a counterattack that pushed Jared back.

His next words were just as casual, just as easy. “I haven’t talked to Dallas about it. I figured if he wanted me to know, he’d have told me. Unless something was stopping him.”

“Not letting it go? Fine.” Jared tossed his staff aside with a sigh, and it clattered to the floor. “Ace can’t find out. That needs to be a promise.”

Cruz hesitated only a moment before nodding. “The fewer who know, the safer you are. But I need to know. If something goes wrong, I’m the one most likely to be able to get you out.”

“Bren’s on it.”

“Bren doesn’t have my connections.”

“Really, now?” So, quiet Cruz was the one with the friends in high places. “I’m impressed.”

“I can’t use them for information, not the kind Dallas needs. But if you get in trouble…” Cruz’s expression stayed serious. “Don’t underestimate how far I’ll go to protect Ace’s heart.”

Not just a promise, but a warning. “You took the words right out of my mouth. Which is why you need to stay the fuck out of it.”

“I’m not going to trip you up at fancy parties—or your new club. But you need to check in with us regularly.” Cruz swept up Jared’s abandoned staff and tossed it to him. “And I need to make sure you can kill a man with whatever’s handy.”

“Your newest project, huh?”

“I don’t want to get too soft living in all that O’Kane luxury.”

It wasn’t the high living on Dallas’s compound that was bringing out all of Cruz’s latent protective instincts—and that was exactly what this was, no matter how he tried to spin it. No, it was all that time he’d spent curled up between Ace and Rachel.

Caring. Once you let go and let yourself do it, it got to be a habit.

Jared kept his mouth shut for a few minutes, focusing instead on the careful coordination of his breathing and his muscles and the weapon in his hands, all moving in concert. But the words spilled forth anyway.

“It’s not so different,” he panted. “In my bedroom, or in a bar. Half the time, all I do is wait for them to say things they already want to say.” That much he understood now—the compulsion born of secrecy, how silence was its own sort of prison. The relief that came with being able to tell someone, anyone, all those things you were supposed to keep locked up.

“People want to be heard.” Cruz wasn’t as breathless, but he wasn’t moving so smoothly now, either. He blocked Jared’s advance only inches from his ribs and broke away to regain space to maneuver. “The bar’s a good idea. Eden’s elite are getting bored and reckless.”

Bored was one of Jared’s longstanding clients tripling her number of monthly visits. Reckless was the time she brought two friends with her, both the wives of powerful, devout men. Of true believers.

Bored and reckless. Separately, they made people dangerous. But together? Bored and reckless had toppled empires.

***********************************************

He didn’t say anything, just watched her for so long that the intensity would have terrified her if being the focus of his attention wasn’t thrilling in a different way. Finally, he sighed. “I don’t know what to do with you, Lili Fleming.”

Her heart lurched, and the words that spilled out were reckless—the most unguarded of her life. “What do you want to do with me?”

Again, the hesitation. “There are ways I could help you,” he admitted, rubbing his thumb over the bowl of his glass. “Ordinarily, I would have already offered. But somehow it seems complicated now.”

She watched his thumb make another slow sweep and couldn’t not imagine it smoothing over her skin. That was what he was talking about—he had to be. Touching her. Showing her the things her body wanted, even as her mind shrank away.

“That’s not why—” Her voice cracked, and she took a long sip of wine and wished it was whiskey. “I’m not asking you for that. I don’t know if I—if I could…” God, she couldn’t even say it, her tongue tangling around the mildest of euphemisms.

“I know you’re not asking.” He shrugged. “I guess that’s what makes it complicated.”

Because trades were simple. They never left you vulnerable. And he hadn’t really answered her question—he was so deft that she hadn’t noticed. “What do you want to do?” she repeated softly.

Jared held her riveted, so completely that she barely noticed when he moved. She couldn’t look away, even when he took the glass from her hand. Even when he laid his hands on her face, his fingers curled around her neck to hold her, and lowered his mouth to hers.

She’d imagined kissing. Mouths touching, lips brushing.

She’d imagined wrong, because Jared’s tongue was the first thing she felt, hot and shocking, as if he knew it would make her gasp. Because when she did, he went deeper, his tongue finding hers.

It was too much. Too fast, too intoxicating. Her entire body throbbed along with her racing pulse, and her knees felt unsteady. She clutched for the only steady thing she could find, grasping his upper arms to keep from melting through the floor.

Then his hands tightened, tilting her head back, urging her mouth open. His tongue swept over hers again, rough and rasping, and every tiny shiver of sensation built into an ache that settled between her legs. Not just an ache, a need, and she whimpered into his mouth.

Jared broke the kiss with a shudder and smoothed his thumb over her tingling lower lip. “See?” he whispered. “Complicated.”

She closed her eyes and tried to catch her breath. “Not sure that helped,” she said, an attempt to turn it into a joke. It had to be, or fear and longing would crash together and vaporize her. “I’m feeling all sorts of things now.”

“It doesn’t have to stop.” His hands trembled on her face. “But that’s your choice to make.”

An impossible choice—need or fear, pleasure or peace. And all of it shrouded in mystery, because she couldn’t reconcile the O’Kanes’ wild glee with her mother’s whispered warnings to lie still so it would be over faster.

“I don’t know.” She forced herself to look at him, to meet his patient, waiting eyes. “I don’t know anything. How can I make a choice when I don’t understand what you’re offering?”

“You’re right.” He smiled again and brushed her hair back from her forehead with a careful, gentle touch. “It’s not exactly fair, is it?”

She was still clinging to him. Slowly, shyly, she eased her grip until she was touching, instead. His arms were solid, muscle flexing as she rubbed her thumb against his sleeve and wondered if he felt the same spark of sensation. “When I was on the drugs, everything seemed so clear. I thought they were all pretending. I didn’t believe in pleasure.”

“And now?”

Now it would be like not believing in water while she was standing outside in the rain. This wasn’t some gentle mist, either. She was caught up in a storm, and she’d seen what heavy rain could do to the desert. The clay couldn’t absorb the water, and the riverbeds couldn’t contain it.

She wasn’t made for pleasure. Too much would sweep her away. “Now I’m scared.”
***********************************************

Lili’s world was on fire.

It was wrong. Watching Rachel and Ace and Cruz, imagining doing more than watching, and now this, her dress pushed up to her hips and her fingers pressed between her own thighs. Everything about this was wrong, start to finish.

And it felt so, so right.

This was the source of the ache that consumed her every time Jared touched her. His touch had always been too much, illicit and skilled and intimidating. Her own touch was clumsy by comparison, but even that had her shaking in moments.

Something was simmering inside her, something that made every brush of her fingers—their fingers—more dangerous and more necessary.

Jared’s breath blew over her ear. “You know this is what she wants, right?” He stroked his thumb over her cheek, guiding her gaze back to Rachel. “She gets off on being watched. And watching, I think.”

It explained so much. The warmth in Rachel’s eyes, the subtle tension in the store. Maybe Rachel hadn’t wanted to push, but the willingness was there. To let Lili watch, to help her understand the O’Kanes and their reckless pleasure.

Lili even understood gets off now—it was the culmination of pleasure, the moment this ache inside her boiled over. The only question was how hot she had to get before it happened.

Rachel had one arm wrapped around Ace’s neck, her eyes drifting shut only to snap open again. She moved faster, her chest heaving, and she clutched at Cruz with her other hand, her fingers wound through his hair as he reached between her and Ace.

With a jolt, Lili realized what he was doing. Touching Rachel, the same way Jared was guiding her to touch herself. But not tentative and easy—even in faint light, the shifting pattern of his tattoos highlighted the flex of muscle. Rachel’s response was immediate, her body arching as if the pleasure was so intense, she might fly out of her skin.

Blood pounding in her ears, Lili shifted her fingers, pressing more firmly. Sensation jolted through her, and she barely dug her teeth into her lower lip in time to hold back a moan.

The sharp sound of a zipper broke through her haze. “Do you do this when you’re alone, Lili?”

Shaking her head, she sagged back in the booth. The vinyl was smooth and cool against all the skin bared by her dress, but her own nakedness was inconsequential. The table shielded Jared’s movements from everyone else in the room—

But not from her.

He had freed his erection from his tailored pants. It jutted up into his hand, long and thick and impossibly big. It looked rough and delicate all at once, veined and throbbing but also soft, and she watched as he ran his thumb around the flared head.

Hazy nights spent at O’Kane parties had left her with a patchwork of blurry memories, of body parts and the ways they touched and came together. But she’d never wanted to look before. Now she couldn’t look away. She watched his elegant fingers slide along his length, and felt an answer throb beneath her own fingertips, as if he was somehow touching her, too.

So wrong. And so good.

“Harder, sweetheart.” He obeyed his own words, tightening his hand until his erection—his cock—jumped in his grip.

Her body was buzzing. Her nipples were tight, sensitive to the rasp of her dress, but she couldn’t touch them without the whole room seeing. It was a game, the kind she’d always been so good at. Control her expression, project calm. Smile, like she wasn’t brazenly touching herself beneath the table.

The thrill of it twisted her up. She let her thighs ease wider, until her knee bumped Jared’s, knowing he’d be the only witness as she slipped her fingers beneath the thin fabric of her panties and sought out slickness and heat.

He froze and shook his head. “Take them off.”

“What?”

“You heard me, Miss Lili.” His voice was low, steady—and wrapped in unmistakable command. “Take off your fucking panties.”

BLURB:

It figured that the last man on earth would be the one who broke her heart.

The world died practically overnight, leaving behind sparse pockets of survivors, who must learn to live without electricity, internet, cable, or grocery stores.

When it came to survival, it was kill or be killed. And the most important rule of all; don’t let the zombies catch you.

When Brody rides off into the sunset, with grandiose dreams, he leaves behind not just his small town but also his first love. But the hopes he had of making it big are shattered when a deadly virus hits, and those who survive return as zombies to hunt the immune. Lonely in this new reality, he finds himself drawn back to his hometown and rediscovers the woman he left behind.

Hannah never thought the expression, “Not if you were the last man on earth” would ever come back to haunt her, but when the world’s population is decimated by a deadly virus, she regrets her words, especially when Brody comes riding back into her life. A very alive Brody who reminds her she’s not just a survivor but also a woman.

Eking out an existence in this new world is hard. Forgiving the blunders of the past sometimes harder.

Against all odds, Brody and Hannah survived the plague and have prevailed against the undead, but will their stubborn nature still tear them apart?

Tracy

Some of my favourite things are The Walking Dead, hot blokes who ride motorbikes, dystopian/post-apocalyptic themes and second chance love……. So, reading the blurb of Apocalypse Cowboy, I knew this was right up my street (add in the fact that I FLOVE Eve Langlais and I was on to a no-brainer…. haha, zombies, brains, get it?!?!)

Hannah has been doing a great job of surviving after a deadly virus outbreak/apocalypse hit and she’s managed to take care of her ungrateful, surly younger sister and her invalid uncle in a town whose resident population has been wiped out….
Brody was the love of her life who rode off into the sunset a few years ago, breaking her heart and making her vow to have nothing to do with him should he even be the last bloke on earth…. so when he rides back into her life it’s a case of famous last words eh?!

Apocalypse Cowboy was a fun read as you’d expect from Eve. It had snark, adventure, heat and down and dirty times with a few sad and ‘oh crap’ moments added to the mix.

I liked Brody, once he found her alive and well he was determined to make things right with Hannah, even if he was an idiot who had left in the first place. Hannah was too bloody stubborn for her own good – I have to admit to a little thing that played on my nerves with her… given that she had managed to survive for so long without major drama or trouble, at one point it was like Brody’s return turned her into some kind of hopeless case – I really wanted to smack some sense into her!
Beth, the younger sister was a snotty, selfish teenager who seemed to have no comprehension of the world around them – a typical teenager in some respects I suppose.

An enjoyable read that put a lighter, softer spin on the old zombie storyline.
I rate Apocalypse Cowboy 4.5*

~ New York Times and USA Today Bestseller

Hello, my name is Eve and I am a Canadian author who loves to write hot romance, usually with shifters, cyborgs or aliens lol.

Be warned, I do have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. I like strong alpha males, naked chests and shifters. Lots of shifters. In fact, you’ll notice most of my multi partner stories revolve around great, big, overprotective shifters who just want to please their woman. I am also extremely partial to aliens, you know the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane…with pleasure of course.

I love to write, and while I don’t always know what my mind is going to come up with next, I can promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because I love a happily ever after.

Thanks so much for coming by and checking me out. If you’d like to know more, read some excerpts or find out what’s coming next, then please visit me at my website:

BLP REVIEW ~ Tracy

I was nervous about reading Aflame…. not because I was in any way worried about the story or what would happen with Tate & Jared – I just didn’t want the series to end.

Throughout Rival and Falling Away, Jared wasn’t fully ‘himself’ – the cocky, flirty guy we loved was a little lost and no-one seemed to notice (except his little brother!!) – so although it was hard that things went down the way they did at the end of Falling Away, I understood why it had to be like that and trusted that Pen would give us a fantastic story with Aflame.

Our couple had gone through so much angst, hurt, pain and upset in Bully and Until you that it was great that this final book was a lot of fun!

We got a grown up, responsible, ‘found his place’ Jared who was still as in love with Tate as he had ever been and we met a ballsier, more confident, ‘capable of standing on her own’ Tate who, even though he hurt her when he left, still loved the boy she grew up with – together they were more than they could have been if they had never split up and learned their own worth!

Penelope still squeezed my heart (and I admit that I cried a couple of times) but most of all I laughed and smiled so much while reading!!!
That pair are tremendous together and I’m over the moon that they got such a terrific finalé!!!

We were joined by Madoc and Fallon, Jax & Juliet, Jason & Katherine and James (Tate’s dad) – catching up with them all and finding out how things were going with them was really great and the epilogue just finished the book off to a T!!!!

Excellent job Penelope, in my humble opinion, AFLAME was the perfect way to end the series…

Author Bio

I live in Alberta, Canada, where the weather is forever changing (without warning). I am engaged to be married in August 2015 to my high school sweetheart and love of my life. There are no children in my life as of right now, but we do have a handful of rambunctious cats (four) and a testy, rescued Shepard/Husky, who take up a lot of my time.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve adored the written word. English was always my favorite class and that may be biased because I can’t count to save my life, so math was a horror! I remember the very first novel I ever read, Shocking Pink by Erica Spindler. It was the most interesting of the covers on my mom’s bookshelf (probably because it was pink) and I was way too young to be reading that novel. But I fell in love. From there, I read almost everything from V.C. Andrews.

My writing started out as poetry, which then evolved to songs, and later into novels. I was never one for the short stories as I found it too difficult to pack everything I imagined into something so small. I now have multiple novels published independently. I write both novels for young adults and novels for adults – all romance.

Despite my favorite younger reading material, I now adore writing and reading all things romance.

Synopsis

~ Mischa ~

I made a conscious decision to cheat on my husband.

Now, before you judge me, hear my story. Hear how much I’m like you, how similar my thoughts are to your own. Yes, I’m a horrible person. Yes, I’ve done horrible things. Yes, I don’t deserve forgiveness. Yes, bad things happened because of my actions.

But I’m willing to bet I’ve done things that maybe, just maybe, you have thought of doing.

Maybe, just maybe, you’re not as innocent as you’d like to think.

Or maybe I’m not so guilty …

WARNING: This book involves CHEATING. The word AFFAIR is in the title. The main character has an AFFAIR. In the synopsis (directly above), she states that she intentionally has an AFFAIR. If you don’t like CHEATING, then you have been VERY WELL warned. Also, this book is primarily written in the third-person narrative.

BLP REVIEWS

Tracy

Holy fuck, where to start!!! I knew Stylo Fantôme could write one helluva book but this just nails it for me!

The first thing I’ve got to say is that a storyline involving cheating is usually a line that I tend to avoid crossing, never mind reading a book where the whole story is based around a woman setting out to have an affair….. but hell, if I’d stuck to my usual modus operandi, I’d have missed this corker of a story. We’ve all heard the phrases ‘The heart wants what the heart wants’ and ‘we can’t help who we fall in love with’ – clichés, definitely, but in this case so very fuckin’ true!!

I was entranced from the start. I actually really liked Mischa, no, scratch that, I bloomin’ loved her… and I absolutely adored Tal. It came as quite a surprise that rather than feeling that what they were doing was wrong I kinda delighted that she was happy. Ok, a lot of the time she wasn’t, like when she let her mind wander to what she was actually doing but, overall, when she was with her lover she was like a different person!

Mischa was like an open book, stronger than she realised and brave, so very brave to put her life as she knew it on the line as she did (hmm, I like to think it says more about Stylo’s writing than it does that say about my moral compass that I felt like that about her rather than be appalled by her actions?!) .
Tal, oh Mr Canaan, (can I just say that he’s giving Jameson a run for his money in my head!!) he was Mr Hot, Hung and Sexy – and deeply mysterious. He was like a calm to Mischa’s storm, how he treated her anchored her, made her feel again (jeez, he possibly made her feel for the first time ever!!) but he was kinda too good to be true and when his secret came out it was awful to watch two hearts be so horribly broken.

Given my thoughts on infidelity I did think I would feel compassion and at least a little sympathy for her husband but I honestly didn’t take to Mike – well, there was a scene later in the book where I began to warm to him but then I wanted to get pissed with him as I felt he was more culpable than he’d ever admit to (but hey, I’m not into spoilers so that’s something for you to find out when you read)

Maybe the reason I engaged so with our lead characters was because I actually know a couple of people who have married their friend and it’s totally been the wrong thing to do – regardless that it was done out of ‘love’ or as the next progressive step in their relationship, it’s a road that should never have been traveled and it never appeared it would lead to a lifetime of happiness…. It’s not a nice thing to watch happen – it’s a bit like witnessing a car crash, you can see it happening but there bugger all you can say or do to stop it and when the impact happens it sadly often destroys more than you thought it could..

My Time in the Affair was, for me, a love story at heart. It was at times sad, thought-provoking, heartbreaking and intense while managing to be uplifting, at times light (the ease and banter between Mischa and Tal was so real and natural), heartening and let’s not forget how blisteringly bloody HOT it was!!!
Ms Fantôme is a writing genius and extremely talented when it comes to hot, sweaty, down and dirty sex scenes. She is also a master at the sweet, tender and gentle moments. Such talent from an author who hasn’t been known for all that long and I don’t think she’s done yet!!

My blog PIC always tells me about the ‘feels’ she got when she’s read a really great book – something I did think I had a handle on, until I read MTITA – all I did was ‘feel’ while reading their story!! Seriously, this is a book that I will reread time and time and time again!

I’ve read SF’s ‘Kane Trilogy‘ and loved it and now with ‘My Time in the Affair‘ she’s grabbed my heart – if you haven’t read her books yet you really have to take the time to pick them up, take yourself off somewhere quiet and lose yourself in her wonderful tales!!

If I could give this more than a 5* rating I would!!! One of my fave books of the year so far!!!

**************

Rebecca

In a sea of mediocrity Stylo Fantôme’s star shines brightly, My Time in the Affair is an absolutely stunning story from this ûber talented author. Multi-faceted, insightful, thought provoking, emotional yet also so deliciously hot, dirty and sexy, it is totally flawless and special.

Over years of reading there are certain authors whose work I have particularly loved whom I one-click no matter the blurb or content just because they have written it, Stylo was already on that list due to the calibre of her debut last year, however also within this group of favourites are certain specific books that have, for whatever reason, especially resonated with me and become rereads many times over – Lady Luck by Kristen Ashley, Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie, Carnage #1 & #2 by Lesley Jones, Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan, are all special to me and have given hours of pleasure over the years, My Time in the Affair is now added to that list.

My focus and reading mojo has been off lately due to that bitch cancer touching real life but, after picking up and putting down multiple books, I was swept away by Mischa and Tal from the pen of Ms Fantôme, I enjoyed The Kane Trilogy, loved Completion but MTITA is so stunning I wish had the words to convey it, to express the beauty of it.
Many will be put off by the fact this involves cheating and whilst this is normally a deal breaker issue for me and I’ve been that hypocritical one, black and white issue, you don’t cheat, Ms Fantôme made me rethink, showed me the huge grey area in-between where good people who sometimes just make poor decisions reside, not bad people having their cake and eating it but human, real people, flawed, hurting and just wanting to be happy.

“I’m not trying to make excuses. There is no excuse for what I did. I should have broken up with him. Point, blank, period. I know this. I know this. But when you’re looking at your best friend, a person who is a part of the fabric of your being, and you can literally see their heart start to break, well … it takes a lot of strength to smash that heart all the way. To disintegrate it. It takes someone stronger than me.”

MTITA gave me huge feels, I fell in love with Mischa and Tal, hook line and sinker, one of my favourite couples of all time. Mischa just wants to be happy, to be desired, isn’t that what we all search and hope for? Someone to navigate this life with, laugh, cry and be comfortable with whilst having passion and lust on the menu as well. Having married her best friend she had the laugh, cry and comfortable, but it was a relationship built on a lie she is unaware of, so the passion and lust dies leaving her floundering, unhappy and discontent with a partner unwilling to acknowledge a problem let alone try to resolve it.

“Something I have learned in life is that things are never as they seem. You think love is one thing – turns out, it’s a whole big barrel of fucked-up-ness. You think marriage is one thing – turns out, it’s an even bigger barrel of fucked-up-ness. You think you can plan something down to the letter – but really, things will go down however they’re going to go down, regardless of your planning. You think you’ve made up your mind – but someone can make it up for you. You think you’re resolved to do something – and then you do the exact opposite.”

Having made a decision to cheat, into the picture comes Tal, one of the hottest, sexiest book boyfriends I have ever read. My blogging partner-in-crime called him Mr Hot, Hung and Sexy and I’m stealing it because, oh my!!!!! Panties totally optional when he’s around, hot flushes not caused by menopause for a change! He’s hot, mysterious, funny, sweet, dirty and delicious. When he whispers “Come find me” I swear I have a little mini orgasm and I’m Mischa in my head!

“Whenever you hear this, I hope it finds you well. I hope you’re dancing, because you were built for it. I hope you’re smiling, because your mouth was made for it. I hope you’re laughing, because it’s the most incredible sound. And I hope you’re being loved by somebody, because you deserve it.”

Ultimately though the attraction of this book is the outstanding writing and the feels it conveys. The depth and emotion of Mischa’s struggle to do right for herself, her husband and Tal, the fledgling relationship that starts to develop from the lust and the passion between Mischa and Tal, the secrets and lies that tear one relationship apart and put the puzzle together of the failing of the other, all of it flawless and captivating, beautifully written, raw, real, sweet, sexy, hot, dirty and just bloody gorgeous. Special beyond belief, Fantôme is a breed apart and was born to write.

“All those moments between those seconds. Timeless. Their love would always be alive; a living, beating heart, but just caught in a moment. Caught in their time. Maybe that’s all they were. Just a time in love. Just a time in an affair.”

AboutTheAuthor

Stylo Fantome
Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since …, forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there’s your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can’t understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.

Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.

It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.

The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let
go.

It’s time to let someone inside.

After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.

The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer
Logan Mitchell.

Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident,

“What’s wrong with my hair? Are you saying I need to cut it?”

“No, I’m fucking not,” Logan said as he fingered the curls by Tate’s ear. “And you know it.”

“What would you do if I did shave my head?”

“Kill you? And likely get away with it since I have connections to a very reputable law firm.”

Tate chuckled and shoved Logan until he was on his back beside him. “Be serious.”

Logan turned his head on the pillow and ran his eyes over Tate’s full head of hair. Then he returned his gaze to the eyes watching him. “I would quite
possibly cry. For days.”

“Over my hair? It does grow back, you know.”

“Yeah, but not for months,” he grumbled. “Can you please stop talking so calmly about this? You’re making me nervous.”

Tate shifted until his long, lean body was stretched out above him, and Logan widened his legs to allow him to settle in between.

“Don’t worry,” Tate assured him as he lowered his head to kiss the corner of his mouth. He then moved those teasing lips to Logan’s ear and whispered, “I
like your hands in it too much to cut it off.”

Logan threaded his fingers through the thick waves and asked, “Like this?”

With a groan, Tate rocked his hips against him, and Logan twisted his fingers tighter.

Exactly like that.”

“Good,” he said as he wound his legs around Tate’s. “Because this way, I can have a tight hold on you when you’re trying to distract me. I’m onto
you, Mr. Morrison. Don’t try to use your body against me.”

He almost lost his willpower when Tate, the cocky fucker, placed his hands on either side of his head and rubbed their erections together.

“You don’t want me to use my body on you?”

“Fuck you,” Logan said, knowing full well that, if he didn’t change the subject or get Tate the hell off him, he was going to roll him over and cease
talking altogether.

Usually he’d love nothing more, but right now, he wanted to know why Tate had reacted so strongly to his question from last night—well, early morning .

“We need to talk.”

BPL REVIEW ~ Tracy

I’ve loved the Temptation Trilogy since I picked up ‘TRY’. Seeing the guys work at giving their relationship a go in ‘TAKE’ was a great read but to see them move forward together was the best!

‘TRUST’ is a book about just that – trusting that you are enough for that one special person to love, trusting that person enough to totally let go and be your true self, trusting that when things get tough you’ll pull through together, trusting that THIS is real and not a dream, ready to slip through your fingers!

There’s a lightness to a lot of this read, their relationship is on a decent footing and there’s not as much angst and interference from others as we experienced in the other books.
There were some serious and sad moments too but there were a lot of scenes that had me chuckling – let’s face it, together this pair are a lot of fun, snark and attitude. There’s also a lot of hot, dirty, sexy moments as you would expect with these two but we also got some sweet, gentle times too.
Through various things during the story we get to see a different side to both T & L, which was interesting!!
Their relationship is growing and developing into something way bigger than either of them ever expected, possibly into something more than either of them ever realised they wanted or even needed.

Because, before this, I didn’t know you were essential for me to feel alive

I started reading Ella’s books when she released ‘Exquisite’ (I love the whole Exquisite series) and I was delighted that she wove the gang into the Temptation series. They provided the extended family that Logan and Tate could turn to when things got rough.

I’m sad that this is the end of this particular chapter in Mr Mitchell & Mr Morrison’s story but I don’t think we’ve seen the last of them – not by a long shot!!!

Synopsis

~Mischa~

Excerpt

He put his hand into the small of my back and the warmth of his hand charged through my body spreading like fire through my veins. “OH my god.” I turned toward him, and moved my hands to hold him back, placing my hand on his amazing ass. I truly could not help myself. That earned me another sexy-as-hell grin from him that made my knickers soaking wet. As I stood there in his half-embrace, I noticed the glow of his golden skin even his jeans showcased his ass beautifully. He really is a very pretty package, in a manly way. I felt hands move slowly over my hips as I danced to the beat of the music I turned into his stunningly large frame, his powerful arms wrapped around my middle, as he moved his hands to cup my ass. Then he swooped while his hips pressed against me. I may have swooned. Logan reached up and swept my hair to one side, exposing my skin there, I quivered in anticipation as I felt the heat of his breath blow against my sensitive skin at my neck stroking his fingers along my shoulder blade. My body reacted making my thighs clench tightly together. I tilted my head slightly to the side in invitation; I was totally mesmerized by him like I’d been hypnotised, completely lost in that moment. I couldn’t help myself really. The only coherent thought I had in that moment, was God, if I’m dreaming please don’t let me wake up. I wouldn’t want to miss this.

RELEASE DAY BLITZ & REVIEW – Ruined by LP Lovell

Title: Ruined
Series: She Who Dares #4
Author: LP Lovell
 Release Date: April 30, 2015

Synopsis

Ruined is book four in the She Who Dares series, but can be read as a standalone.

Hugo

I like to fuck. A lot. Anywhere, anyway, as long as I’m shooting my load in or on some pretty young thing I’m good. In fact, scrap that, they don’t even have to be pretty. What can I say? I’m an equal opportunities kind of guy.

I pride myself on being able to turn even the most self-respecting woman into a dirty slut. I make no apologies for my life or my behaviour. I don’t care about anyone really, certainly not women.

Except her. I care about her, which is why I pushed her away.

Molly

I suppose I’m what you would call the good girl, the sensible one. I’m that girl, the romanticist. I believe in ‘the one’, in that all-encompassing love that leaves you unable to breathe without it.

The thing is though, love is an uncontrollable animal. The heart often declares war on the mind, and even the most rational being can become completely consumed by love.

Sometimes rational is boring. It’s the taste of the wild side that makes you remember you’re alive. The heart wants what the heart wants, even if you end up completely ruined in the process.

BLP REVIEW ~ REBECCA

OMFG!

Cliché I know but OMFG!!!!!

I have a new author crush who might as well organise the restraining order now before the leg humping and drooling starts. I read Ruined at the weekend and totally bloody adored it so have bought the box set for the first 3 in the series…. just finished book 2 as I can’t put them down! Kids are starving, dogs need walking and jobs are waiting but I’m busy and distracted! LP Lovell is as funny as fuck, has no filter whatsoever and is fabulously entertaining – her characters have grabbed me and won’t let go.

Hugo

I like to fuck. A lot. Anywhere, anyway, as long as I’m shooting my load in or on some pretty young thing I’m good. In fact, scrap that, they don’t even have to be pretty. What can I say? I’m an equal opportunities kind of guy.

Except her. I care about her, which is why I pushed her away.

Within the first 10% of Ruined I was highlighting on my kindle like a demented woman and howling with laughter while reading bits out to my friend, Hugo is just fabulous. Abso-fucking-lutely fabulous. Total dog, manwhore extraordinaire, perpetually horny, takes being politically incorrect to whole new levels and as Hugo himself says has “No respect for boundaries or socially acceptable behaviour.”

I don‘t discriminate when it comes to pussy. I do however tend to lean towards the nasty ones. I like a girl who fucks like a hooker who needs to make rent.

Who would have fucking thought it? I pay ten grand a night for hookers, and yet the chubby girl who hasnt been laid in six months just made me come harder than any of them. Fuck going to sex therapy, I‘m going to start hanging around outside Weight Watchers.

There on the bedside table is a massive fucking strap-on. I nervously look over the girls laid on either side of me, and my memory starts to throw flashbacks at me. Really good flashbacks. A mouth wrapped around my cock, sucking my balls. Ive never actually met a girl who could get two balls in her mouth at once. I have now, but I can‘t remember her name. Looking at that strap-on, I think I really should have remembered. Either I had the most epic threesome of all time, or I got royally violated. One I really really want to remember, and the other just makes me want to go kill myself. I mean, Im all for a cheeky finger, but fucking hell, that thing looks like a battering ram. I clench my arse cheeks a bit. Surely Id be feeling that shit?

And then we have Molly………………..

Molly is a rare creature. Classy, possibly even leaning toward demure on the outside, a people pleaser I guess, but theres another side to her. The side that tells me to go fuck myself, and can put an unreasonable Lilly back in her box. Then theres this secret corner of her personality that only comes out under duress, the sexy side of her that loves to be called a dirty whore, and held down while shes fucked from behind. That side is fucking irresistible, and it totally blind sided me. Molly can be seductive and flirtatious, and she can be downright dirty, but shes a good girl through and through, until you get her naked. Then shes an animal, and the animal in me is drawn to her sordid corruption like a magnet. She is the perfect fucking woman.

What I did not bank on – was the fact that I would actually grow to like the filthy prick. I found him…refreshing. He doesnt adhere to anyone elses standards, and in his own way, he made me feel special without even realising he was doing it. He made me feel free. He made me laugh, and I grew to like him.

He may not be Prince Charming, but hes my perfectly fucked up version.

Molly and Hugo start off as casual sex, however while Molly keeps claiming it’s just a bit of fun and Hugo is unusually coming back repeatedly for more they form a bond, broken when Molly tells Hugo she likes him and he runs as far and as fast as he can into the arms of any willing pussy he can find. Despite this their friendship keeps growing and developing and like magnets they are drawn to each other but Molly wants the happy ever after while Hugo just wants instant gratification so will they or won’t they ?

I’m not telling, you need to read it but I will say that this is a rip roaring romp of a book, you will laugh, cry, smile and cringe, the debauchery, the humour, the off the fucking charts sex makes it a nonstop page turner. What is interesting is that wrapped up in all this dirty sex and humour are characters that are flawed and damaged, complex, human and real, hidden in an outrageously funny, hot, sexy story that has such depth and emotion to it with characters you are so captivated by that the ending comes too soon, that you want to demand more, now, want, need. Hugo and Molly, Theo and Lilly, Vegas, Sex Therapy, Gaz the Bulldog, there is so much to love,

I wish I was more articulate, I wish my excitement could come across better because LP Lovell is the most fabulous discovery, potty mouth, no filter and crazy talented,

I adore Hugo, I adore Ruined and I adore LP Lovell.
