BLP REVIEW – Tracy

I’m loving this series from Marie Harte.… as if that would be any surprise.

Book two in the Triggerman Inc series, Secrets Unsealed was another action packed, smokin’ hot read from one of my ‘go to’ authors that left me with more questions than I started with and a definite thirst for the next and final book, Satisfaction Delivered …. I’ve already pre-ordered my kindle copy as I so want to know ‘Hammers’ secrets!

Deacon and Solene were good together. What started out as a sort of ‘babysitting’ gig turned into so much more but Solene was so blood-minded that at times I wondered if Deacon would be able to get through to her or not.

Though we didn’t know who the bad guy was going into the story , it didn’t take long ‘til our leading characters had figured it out and it was finally confirmed… but was he the main man or was he just another soldier?

We caught up with Noel and Addy, found out how ‘Little D’ was getting on and got a couple of glimpses/clues to Hamer – the man known as the ‘Destroyer’

A definite 5* read for me and I can see this being a re-read in the future!

I occasionally forget just how much fun Lili Valente’s books are…. The Panty Melter is the fourth book in the Hunter Brothers series but only the second I’ve read (I’m gonna rectify that ASAP!!!!)I loved this story! Deacon and Violet were that little bit older and had a few things in common – both had lived a life that didn’t go quite to plan and they had older kids but it was now time to live their own lives!!

Deacon was, to Violet’s mind, gruff, bossy and totally alpha… but under all that he was a sweet, caring, really good guy and I’m glad she took time to find that out!

Violet was the calm, measured balance to Deacon’s ‘speak/act now, think later’ mind set – especially when it came to his sons.

This pair were combustible… and that was before they took the leap to see where this connection between them could go. Deacon’s determination that Violet was more than just a ONS or fling earned him definite brownie points in my book!

The twist in the story was good and I really enjoyed the epilogue.

Another fab, fun read from Ms Valente and a 5*, most definitely recommended read!

BLP REVIEW – Tracy

Van is only the second book I’ve read in the Vested Interest series by Melanie Moreland even though it’s the fifth and final book in the set.

I loved Reid when I read his book but I have to admit that Van is so far my favourite. I’ve been looking forward to reading his story since I finished book four. I adored him, Libby and ‘Mouse’ together and boyza, that epilogue….. excellent!!!!!!

Heat, some angst, a lot of sweet and a shed ton of hot and sexy times, along with a supporting cast made up of all our favourite BAM guys and their other halves, made this a fabulous read and a definite 5* for me.

Nothing means more to her than her friends and family, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.

While seriously addicted to coffee, and highly challenged with all things computer-related and technical, she relishes baking, cooking, and trying new recipes for people to sample. She loves to throw dinner parties, and also enjoys traveling, here and abroad, but finds coming home is always the best part of any trip.

Melanie loves stories, especially paired with a good wine, and enjoys skydiving (free falling over a fleck of dust) extreme snowboarding (falling down stairs) and piloting her own helicopter (tripping over her own feet.) She’s learned happily ever afters, even bumpy ones, are all in how you tell the story.
