I previously read An Unexpected Chance and really enjoyed it. Rereading it this month I enjoyed it just as much, if not more, even knowing where the storyline was going.

We had briefly seen Simon in An Unexpected Gift, Evan’s book, and at that point knew there was more to the man than we saw.

I really liked Simon, he hadn’t had it easy in his past relationship but because of that he had an awesome relationship with Mia, his young daughter. She was a bright wee spark and her character and intelligence added to the story.
I really liked Amy. A gorgeous hearted free spirit who had sadly had that used against get by a previous partner, I loved that she was authentic to herself and didn’t change for anyone.

Simon, oh man, I could have smacked him a point…. I honestly got his concerns and fears but for an intelligent man he was a tad dense!!! Thank the gods he had Holly onside otherwise he might never have got his finger out and realise what he had in Amy!!

This story had a great setting, wonderful characters, brought back characters we’ve met previously in the series AND gave us a guest appearance by a favourite of mine from one of Ms Moreland’s other series that I love.

I absolutely adore Melanie’s InstaSpark series. They’re easy reads, keep me engaged, have heat and sweetness and I’d definitely recommend you give them a read!!
