The godsβ¦. I LOVED Blaze & Mads, then there was Mav & Bella and while I just know that Tanner is gonna be my absolute faveβ¦. right now Iβm ALL about Dalton & Dia!!
My heart hurt for Dia. How she perceived othersβ failings as her own, felt she wasnβt good enough, had been treated as if she wasnβt while all the time she was so deserving of everything Dalton Davis could and wanted to give her.
I understood her trepidation about him and her inability to accept what he repeatedly showed her about how he felt and how he valued her so it was great to finally see her begin to realise and believe what her βpeopleβ were telling her!
Dalton, I really adored him. He made no bones about the fact that he wasnβt interested in serious until Dia came along and then he was all inβ¦. I loved that he knew what she needed, didnβt push, was understanding and patient. He was everything she needed that she thought she didnβt want.
The banter between this pair was good. The development of their relationship was something to see. The spice was most definitely spicing βand these two together were highly combustible! That dirty mouth of Mr Davisβ¦ π₯°π₯°
I ran through a solid slew of emotions reading this bookβ¦ honestly think my heart went through the wringers as much as Daltonβs at points.
I like the way friends and family are always included in these books. I love βfound familyβ and that element in Run Game was so important for Dia and made my heart happy.
Iβm loving this series and cannot wait for Tanners book, especially now weβve had a few wee teasers about his past!
This, for me, is definitely a 5 star read!
