BLP REVIEW -Tracy
I’ve got the other books in the series but haven’t got to read them yet….. so went into this one not knowing anything about Jonah, Rachel or the other Bad Boy Bakers, but even though this is the last book and things were pretty much cleared up, I’m definitely going back to read Braxton and Holt’s books…
My heart hurt or them both.
Jonah was so lost about how his life might pan out that he couldn’t believe that he deserved the relationship and happiness that his friends had found. Honest to the gods, he frustrated me a fair bit…. he was so protective and felt so much for Rachel but kept denying himself, and her, real hope at a future together….
Rachel was trying to work out who she was now that she was on her own. A change of location, being with Jonah – even for a limited time – helping the guys with the bakery and having the chance to be ‘Rachel’ without everyone knowing the sad truth about her life all helped her start to see where she wanted her life to go.
I was glad when Jonah finally got his head in the game…. i just wasn’t sure whether he’d left it too late or not!
I really liked the other characters and am looking forward to reading about them and finding out how the other couples got together.
