Escapades was my first read by Lilly Atlas and I’m looking forward to more to come….

For me, this was an engrossing read, I read it in less than half a day and could barely put my kindle down.

I can’t even begin to imagine what feelings this couple would be going through after the tragedy that hit them but I could understand how they drifted apart and why Derek never realised how long there had been a problem. Let’s face it, married life can be hard without other life altering issues, but this pair had a love so deep that I couldn’t imagine them not being together and I could do nothing but hope things would work out for them.

Alyssa and Derek were prepared to try anything to get their marriage and lives back on track and gods, while it was hard they were smokin’ hot together.

My emotions were all over the place at points reading Escapades but it was worth it to see the couple bare their souls and battle the odds to get back to each other and by the end I was over the moon for how their lives had turned out.

I’m really looking forward to the next book in this series – I know who I’m hoping get together next!

An excellent, well written and definitely recommended 5* read from an author I’ll be checking out more of!
