SPOTLIGHT TOUR – ‘The Protected’ by Shiloh Walker
Blurb:
An Assignment She Can’t Refuse
Agent Vaughnne MacMeans would do anything to avoid setting foot in Orlando again. But her new assignment, keeping tabs on a psychic kid who may or may not be in danger, is forcing her right back to the city where her sister was murdered. And she didn’t count on a startling attraction to the boy’s guardian…
An Attraction He Can’t Deny
Protecting Alex is a priority for Gus. Gus may not understand the young man’s “gift” but he knows that some people would kill for it. When a beautiful stranger moves in next door, his impulse is to take the kid and bolt. But Gus has learned never to flee without a plan, and besides…she doesn’t exactly look like an assassin.
A Game They’ll Play For Keeps
But when some dangerous people from Gus’s past do catch up to him and Alex, it’s too late to run. His new neighbor is the last person he thought he could turn to, but Vaughnne isn’t just beautiful. She’s fearless. And she’s the only chance Gus and Alex have left. Read an excerpt HERE

RELEASE DAY – BY THE TAIL (Cougar Falls) by MARIE HARTE
BY THE TAIL
releases today!!
Available at Amazon| Barnes and Noble | Kobo | iTunes | Samhain
It’s more than whether you win or lose; it’s how you play with your prey.
Joy Bermin’s sweet crush on Quince Castille went sour when he got involved with a psychotic feline who nearly destroyed the pride. That bastard is dead, but now Quince is trying to convince her he had nothing to do with it.
She’s been doing her best to ignore him, but the stubborn panther is always underfoot. When he tricks her into seeing how good things could really be between them, she’s stuck between dismay and desire.
Just when Quince was ready to prove his love for Joy, that mess with the pride shot his credibility all to hell. Trickery is the only way to break her resistance and show her the truth. And holy hell, that woman could melt steel with her heat.
Between trying to pin her down and dealing with upstart cats out to destroy what he’s worked so hard to rebuild, Quince is through playing by the rules. Whatever it takes to make Joy his mate, it’s on the table. And God help anyone who gets in his way.
Warning: The Miami heat may induce passion, trickery, feline sunbathing, stubborn brothers bossing around temperamental sisters, and a cat smackdown of epic proportions.

RECOMMENDATION & REVIEW – Her Demonic Angel (Her Angel series #5) by Felicity Heaton
Tomorrow is Cover Reveal Day for HER WICKED ANGEL the 6th book in Felicity Heaton’s fantastic ‘HER ANGEL’ series.
Before we meet Asmodeus, have you caught up with the 5 other seriously hot and dangerous Angels yet?
My favourite is Veiron from the 5th book, Her Demonic Angel……..
Here’s the Blurb
A demonic angel with a heart of ice, Veiron walks a dark path with vengeance on his mind. Nothing will sway him from his mission to destroy his master… until he risks his life to enter Hell once more to save a mortal female. The fiery beauty makes him burn with hungers he must battle and needs he cannot deny, tempting him to surrender body and soul to her.
Erin is convinced her refusal to do the Devil’s bidding will see her die in a terrifying realm straight out of her nightmares. The last thing she expects is the lethally sensual warrior who breaks into her cell and awakens the darkest desires of her heart and a fierce longing to know the heat of his caress.
Pulled into an incredible world where war is set to ignite and darkness is on the rise, Erin races with Veiron to escape the Devil’s legions in a journey fraught with danger and filled with passion that flares white-hot.
When Erin is faced with a life-shattering realisation and an extraordinary destiny, will their love give them the strength to battle both Heaven and Hell or will they be parted forever?
and this is my Review
I love all of Felicity Heaton’s books.
Of the 5 books written so far in the Her Angel series, I think this is the best yet – Her Dark Angel is a very close 2nd.
Fab characters – Veiron is a dark, quite complex and, as you would expect from Felicity, he’s smokin’ hot!! Erin’s character is a strong female and very likeable!
Found the story kept my attention all the way through. It was fast paced with lots of twists. Thought it had really great dialogue – especially some of the comments from our ‘hero’ – it was at times witty but also a little sad – overall FH at her best!!
Loved the fact that all the characters from the previous 4 books were included/referred to and the plot development just keeps getting better!!!
If you haven’t read any of the series yet, as said already in another review, start with Her Dark Angel – you won’t be disappointed and will be very quickly hooked!!
Really looking forward to the next instalment!!

BEYOND PAIN (Book 3 in the Beyond series) by Kit Rocha – New Release, Recommendation & Review
BEYOND PAIN by Kit Rocha
BLURB
A woman with no future…
Live fast, die young–anything else is a fantasy for Six. She’s endured the worst the sectors had to throw at her, but falling in with Dallas O’Kane’s Sector Four gang lands her in a whole new world of danger. They’re completely open about everything, including their sexuality–but she hasn’t survived this long by making herself vulnerable. Especially not to men as dominant as Brendan Donnelly.
A man without a past…
Bren is a killer, trained in Eden and thrown to the sectors. His one outlet is pain, in the cage and in the bedroom, and emotion is a luxury he can’t afford–until he meets Six. Protecting her soothes him, but it isn’t enough. Her hunger for touch sparks a journey of erotic discovery where anything goes–voyeurism, flogging, rough sex. He has only one rule: he won’t share her.
In Bren’s arms, Six is finally free to let go. But his obsession with the man who made him a monster could destroy the fragile connection they’ve forged, and cost him the one thing that makes him feel human–her love.
MY REVIEW
Beyond Pain is the 3rd book in the series by the Kit Rocha girls.
I have been looking forward to reading BP since I finished Beyond Control and jeez, the ladies have made it well worth the wait.
Donna & Bree have outdone themeselves with Beyond Pain. The story was XXXX HOT and then some….. this book is seriously sexy and hits us with doses of exhibitionism, voyeurism, menage and kink.
The Sector 3 story that started in BC continues in BP – we get more of an insight into the wider world of the sectors and we meet new characters that I’m sure will crop up again as the series continues.
Dallas & Lex are kept busy with Sector business as things are moving at a pace. Bren has been given the task of starting to look over Sector 3 and this takes Six back to a world she is trying to forget. There’s a lot of action and a fair share of violence…
BP revolves around Bren & Six and their developing relationship.
Six has been used, abused and mentally beaten and is a whole lot broken. Her self worth is non existant and she feels kinda lost in the new world she finds herself in in Sector 4. After all she suffered at the hands of Trent, she doesn’t trust anyone anymore – except, it seems – to some degree, Bren.
Bren is an awesome character – hard as hell but with Six he is quiet, patient and caring. He does everything he can to get her to fully trust him and to start believing in herself again – never pushing and leaving her to make her own choices. He is kinda broken himself after his own experiences in Eden and we see how his growing relationship with Six affects him throughout the book.
As you would expect with a Beyond book, the sex is extremely hot but in BP there isn’t the group sexfest we experienced in BC.
There are more than a few smokin’ hot scenes – with 2 or 3 in particular that curled my toes in the best way possible!!!!!
The usual favourites are all featured and at points we are treated to the POV of a few individuals that added an interesting spin on the book & series and gives us a little glimpse into possible stories to come.
Beyond Pain for me is a 5* read. I love this series and everything about it!!
I cannot wait for Beyond Jealousy – that’s gonna be another scorcher of a read!!!
** I was fortunate to receive an ARC from the authors in exchange for an honest review. **

NEW RELEASE: Reaper’s Reward by Marie Harte
Reaper’s Reward – Marie Harte
Ethan Reaper is lucky at work but unlucky at love. He has particular tastes in the bedroom and can’t find a woman to satisfy him. A new job for his security firm puts him in the middle of the Caribbean in a fantasy resort where anything goes. But the woman who steals her way under his guard is more than she appears.
Jewel Marciella, a.k.a Jewel Riser, has no idea what her undercover assignment at Satyr’s Myst — an exclusive and very private resort — will entail. Her attraction to Ethan is her first surprise, her job as a sexual slave her second whopping shocker.
Ethan and Jewel each have a job to do, and despite the hot chemistry between them, their relationship on the island is a fantasy at best. But murder and blackmail put them in dangerous positions, and they’ll have to decide if love is indeed a fantasy, or a choice which reaps its own rewards.
