Lacey Wells walked into my life and ruined it. Although not in the traditional sense, we made the decision to be âexclusiveâ. We used each other to satisfy our bodiesâ want of lust and attraction. And we had thisâŠfor a time.
When uncontrollable events altered the arrangement and life as we knew it had fallen to circumstance, my reactions werenât only punishing, they were painful and cruel. I pushed her away, causing her heartache, but in return, she refused to break. Instead, she challenged my will at every turn. She was determined to make me see the person I always was, but had never been. I was desperate and searching for the answer I was so anxious to haveâŠ
Was I capable of falling in love?
Our path together was tumultuous and unforgiving. At times, it was full of anger and resentment. But it was also fun and sometimes downright ridiculous.
Thereâs no label to our story; tales of clichĂ© pale in comparison. It just happened. It was us. It was crazy and it was exactly what we made it.
Note: There are no love triangles or cheating that takes place within this story. Itâs a HEA; however, the road to getting there is full of angst, sadness, and regret. If you arenât a reader who enjoys the element of angst or heartache, this book isnât one youâd find enjoyment in reading.
Due to content, this book should not be purchased by readers under the age of 18.
down my hallway. She has no clue where my bedroom is so she keeps opening doors along the way.

When she’s not writing she can be found reading or watching her favorite sports teams. She enjoys spending time outside fishing, swimming, or camping. Her first book, Holding On – Lights of Peril, published in October 2013

His mother gave him a picture. There was a date and a town in South Dakota written on the back. Hot Springs. He has made up his mind to go, but there is no way to predict just what is ahead.
Bailey Campbellâs greatest joy is the wide open spaces on the back of her horse, Liberty. There is nothing quite like freedom and sadly, it always comes at a price. Every time Bailey takes one step away, her stepfather reels her back in by using her half-sister as bait. He is vicious and abusive. It is a part of her life Bailey struggles to keep hidden until a chance meeting with a soldier as battered as she.
Following destinyâs guidance, can Blake and Bailey embrace a future without secrets?

Poet and Amy’s story…
Patrick Gallagherâs future was mapped outâand it didnât include Amy Henderson or the IRA.
She was everything heâd never wanted. Too young. Too naĂŻve.
Unfortunately, he couldnât help but be fascinated by the girl who took refuge in his old bedroom, staying with his mum more often than not.
She looked like a Renaissance painting and argued like a solicitor. He couldnât resist her, and before long, he didnât even want to.
Instead, he loved her unreservedly⊠then he married her.
But he couldnât have prepared for what happened after.
Actions, no matter how large or how small, have consequencesâand when the IRA comes knocking, heâs sucked into a life that heâd never anticipated.
Choices were made.
Hearts were broken.
Trust was shattered.
Lives were lost.
Through it all, he loved her.
It was a love that spanned decades.
Epic.
Intense.
Unquestionable.
Unbreakable.

Nicole Jacquelyn bio:
Nicole Jacquelyn is the mom of two little girls and a full time college student. She hasnât watched television in well over a year, she still does things that drive her mother crazy, and she loves to read. At eight years old, when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she told people she wanted to be a mom. When she was twelve her answer changed- to author. By the time she was eighteen, when people asked her what she wanted to do with her life, she told them she really wanted to be a writer- but the odds of that happening were so slim that sheâd get her business degree âjust to be safeâ. Her dreams stayed constant. First she became a mom, then she went to college, and during her senior year- with one daughter in first grade and the other in preschool, she sat down and wrote a story.

BLP REVIEW
 ~ TRACY
OMFG……….. get your tissues ready.
This book bloody broke me – in the BEST way!!!
I have to say that my overall thoughts for Craving Resurrection are I LOVE IT… Jeez, I thought Craving Absolution, Farrah and Casper’s story, was a heart shredder and then I read this – I was destroyed, a red nosed, watery eyed, jibbering mess by the end…. and I LOVED IT!!!
It’s not often you come across a book that leave an indelible mark on you, or maybe that’s just me…. I had been (not so patiently) waiting for Craving Resurrection and it was more than worth the wait.
I loved (yep, you’re gonna get sick of that word right here!!) Poet and Amy’s story.
Amy was awesome. She had a pretty shitty upbringing and as an adult even shittier cards that were dealt her way, but she’s a fighter and regardless of what hit her she kept going. I had the feels for her so hard – at some points I felt like I was there, in the middle of the chaos with her and my heart and head hurt like hell.
Patrick…. Aahhh Trick, I loved him ’til I hated him then I detested him and then, finally, finally he did something kinda right and I fell for him again!! Charming but bloody thoughtless, make your blood boil git that he is!!
We had met Poet way back in book #1 and he’s been pretty constant in the series, but we knew so very little about him. Talk about secrets, lies and skeletons in cupboards……
Christ, the book was such a roller-coaster of a ride that I could barely keep my emotions in check from one chapter to the next!
For half the time I was so fuckin’ annoyed at Patrick and hated what he’s done, how he’d acted and how oblivious to everything he seemed to be and the other half I was mentally shouting at Amy, “talk, tell him, for the love of the gods, open your mouth and speak woman”!!!…….. Hard headed, thick skulled bastards deserved each other – but that small point aside, were they really meant to be??
As with Craving Absolution, a lot of this book happens in the past. Getting the story of Poet and how he came to be an Ace. Finding out the answers to things hinted at in previous books and seeing where his future lies, it’s a wonderfully complete wee package!
We meet some of the MC in earlier times as well as in the present and we are introduced to some new characters.
Peg, I loved her (quite probably harder than Rose and I didn’t think that could be possible) She was a terrific character – but given were she’s from that was a given (then again, I’m biased!!)
Kevin….Yeah, got a lot of thoughts about him but nothing that I can say here and now!! You’ll get what mean when you read the book!
Robbie…. hell, still don’t really know how I feel about him!!
I hate that Nicole made me hurt so bad, but even though she took my heart, carved it up and left it looked like chopped liver, I’d happily go through it all again… She had me thinking about the book for days after I finished reading it. I couldn’t stop crying any time I thought about Amy & Patrick and I was unable to get over this story by starting to read another book, hell I was unable to THINK about reading another book for a while after Craving Resurrection…
Nicole has this outstanding gift and great ability when it come to writing – such an amazing way with words, of painting a picture and telling a story that feels real!!!! Through the series her talent has blossomed and grown and I can’t wait to see how she progresses further as an author going forward!!
THIS Book….. This one does it for me!!! It’s my fave book of the year so far, completely, totally and oh hell…. just bloody thinking about it – I’m gonna feckin cry again!!!!!!
Read it…. if you haven’t checked out the rest of The Aces books, grab them now and get stuck in, you’ll love them!!

EMILY MICHAELS ~ Have you ever felt like you didnât belong? Like you never fit in, or you werenât good enough? This is how I have felt for as long as I can remember.ÂÂI see the world differently than everyone else, I feel everything differently and I reflect on life differently. And being different in my world is not a good thing.ÂI live in a place thatâs divided between the rich and the poor, the beautiful and the unbeautiful, the prestigious and the mediocre. I have always belonged in the first category, because my father was the Governor of Georgia.ÂÂGrowing up around people I could never relate with, my life had always been lonely, that was until my senior year when I met the one boy who would change my life forever. A boy who my parents would never approve of because he didnât come from money or the same social class. He rode a motorcycle, had tattoos and was considered to be from the wrong side of the tracks. Yet he was still envied by many.ÂRyder Jameson was someone who every guy feared, and one who every girl wanted to be touched by. He didnât do attachments, or have friends⊠until me. And for the first time in my life I finally felt like I belonged. When I was with him, my different didnât feel wrong or ugly. He made me feel beautiful – insightfully beautiful. Then one day my world came crashing down on me, and it would be six years before I’d once again see the boy I fell in love with.ÂRYDER JAMESON ~ After working my ass off I am given the opportunity of a lifetime, and if I pull it off I will be the youngest FBI agent to run one of the biggest undercover operations in history. Only the case that gets thrown in front of me leads me back to the one place I swore I would never return to, and to the only girl whoâs ever mattered to me.ÂÂExcept Emily Michaels is not the same girl I left behind. She still looks the same, sheâs still beautiful inside and out, but thereâs one thing thatâs very different about her, one very big thing, and itâs something I didnât think was possible.ÂRyder and I come from a world where politics separates us and wealth defines us, but even after all this time we will not let it divide us.ÂÂHere is our story.
BLP REVIEW ~ REBECCA
K.C. Lynn is a favourite of mine as she gave me the one and only (take no substitutes) Sexy Sawyer, an awesome book boyfriend of the ‘Oops, no panties, let me throw myself at you’ and cue the shagging him senseless variety! So I was very intrigued by this standalone project especially given the subject matter. It’s a thought provoking story with a romance that she does well as always, however it lost me slightly with the believability on one thing but it niggled which makes a four and a half star rating.
The title ‘Beautifully Insightful’ is perfect as you will see when you read. K.C. Lynn has given us a heroine with a disability, and as well as writing a good book with a beautiful romance she shows a whole different side to living and coping in this world with a disability. The observations from both sides of the coin (it will make sense I promise!) are very insightful (!) and poignant.
Emily:
Have you ever felt like you didnât belong? Like you never fit in, or you werenât good enough? This is how I have felt for as long as I can remember.
I see the world differently than everyone else, I feel everything differently and I reflect on life differently. And being different in my world is not a good thing.
I don’t want to give spoilers so Iâm not going to rehash the blurb or the story, however this is a different spin on the high school sweethearts, good little rich girl with the bad boy from the wrong side of town love story. Â I adored Emily and the way the author wrote the before and afters of her disability, the way we judge as a society without knowing reasons for someones ability to do or not do a simple task, how looks or wealth for example define us by the shallow but for others they can see the beauty inside.
Ryder’s struggle to do the right thing by Emily results in a harsh decision that breaks both their hearts however, 6 years later fate throws an opportunity in his path and he seizes it so he can see her again but fate is a fickle bitch and has thrown Emily a curveball at the same timeâŠâŠ
Will they meet and rekindle their romance?
Will the same force that parted them previously succeed again?
Where does the sex trafficking feature?
Nope, not telling. Go one click and find outâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ.
The niggle that bugged me was the FBI storyline, at times it felt superfluous, not really a thriller, not really a suspense, almost not really needed – as a romance it’s a good one but this plotline distracted (and not in a good way) without adding to the storyline. But thatâs just my niggle and it’s a small one.
 Author Quote:
Beautifully Insightful has a message behind it, like most of my books do. I once read something that helped my inspiration behind this book, and it was this: we were all humans until race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us.
Although this story is fiction there is one thing that is hauntingly real, and that is sex trafficking.
Every thirty seconds someone is abducted into the human trafficking industry.
Thatâs a scary statistic, one every thirty seconds, and it tends to be a taboo subject. People do not want to face that in this day and age selling of humans for sex exists especially when children are involved. This awful practise is a part of the BI story and, while it does not have gratuitous violence, it’s a subject some will not be comfortable with. Â
K.C Lynn creates a beautiful balance of emotions – fear, humour, love, affection, desire, disappointment, grief, trust and embarrassment plus a host of others never overdone. She’s a class act all the way and the whole wealth, politics, looks, define us argument is played out beautifully with Emily and Ryder.
Worth a read? Bloody hell Yes.
Her best? Not gonna answer that. I’m off to shag Sawyer so Iâm biased!!!
