Blurb
She’s a badass musician with no patience for overinflated egos. He’s a billionaire tasked with wrangling her into submission. Going head-to-head has never been so much fun. Especially since neither one is afraid to play dirty.
In FALLING FOR MR. BAD…
Sable Montgomery loves her single, do-as-she-pleases small-town life. She sees family often, spends her days working in her auto shop and many evenings playing at a local pub with her band, Surge. She has no desire to settle down or let any man tell her what to do. When Surge is offered what most people would consider the chance of a lifetime to tour with and open for Bad Intentions, the hottest rock band of the decade, her bandmates are all in, but she’s determined to walk away. Sable has no patience for glitz, glamour, or overinflated egos, and that includes the infuriatingly hot billionaire sent to wrangle her into submission.
Taking over as manager for his brother’s band wasn’t on business mogul Kane Bad’s agenda last year, much less negotiating with the stubborn and beautiful lead singer for Surge, but there’s nothing he won’t do for family. Including trying to stifle his desire for Sable. He needs to convince her to accept the contract, but he’d rather wrangle the sexy, headstrong, boot-wearing, tough-talking musician into his bed.
Loyalties are tested, lies are told, and greedy pleasures are satisfied. Are they just a chorus between chaotic verses, or will falling for Mr. Bad be Sable’s greatest love song?
No cheating, no cliffhangers, and happily ever afters guaranteed to leave you breathlessly in love with the fiercely loyal and wickedly naughty characters in the Love in Bloom series. All Love in Bloom books are written to stand alone or be enjoyed as part of the larger series, so dive right in and enjoy the ride!
I’ve said it before, I’m not a huge fan of Billionaire Romance stories, BUT there is a tiny handful of authors who write this trope that I will read without hesitation…. Melissa Foster is up there in the top 2 of these authors!!!!
Sable & Kane’s first meeting was entertaining. I knew at that point that I was gonna love her but I wasn’t entirely sure I was gonna feel the same about him. I really should know better by now though; Melissa always writes MMCs that I end up loving. I adored Sable’s snark and in all honesty, Kane’s arrogance didn’t annoy me like I thought it might.
This pair were definitely two peas in a pod. Emotional walls higher than Mount Everest, both avoiding relationships and commitment but they’re all in when it comes to their family and friends who were important to them! Their stubbornness to not get involved or attached then their hesitation to admit their feelings when they were falling had my heart going out to them and made me like them even more…. especially when the reasons behind their emotional lockdowns were revealed.
The one thing that I couldn’t quite get on board with for a bit was BDK, especially Kane calling himself ‘Big Daddy’… but the story of the origins of the name won me over.
I loved seeing this pair fall. Reading about them finding out more about each other, realising they were nothing like they initially thought, then seeing them grow together as a couple while dealing with the difficulties and concerns they faced was awesome.
There was so much emotion, some heartache, heat that was OFF THE CHARTS, surprising sweetness at how determined Kane was to take care of Sable and no third act break-up (which always makes my heart happy!!) as well as loads of interactions and great banter with family and friends.
The angst Sable faced was just enough – and entirely understandable – and how Kane supported her throughout was fab.
Can I just say grand gestures!!!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I would honestly read a shopping list if Melissa wrote it, I just adore her books, characters and worlds.
I’m so looking forward to more from Ms Foster and cannot wait to find out what’s going on with Kane’s sister, Aria.
This is definitely on my reread list and a solid 5 🌟 recommended read.

Fall for the sizzling new rivals-to-lovers rom-com read from USA Today bestselling author, Lila Monroe! Perfect for fans of Tessa Bailey, Ali Hazelwood, and Emily Henry.
Josh Carlyle is charming, sexy as hell, and the perfect destination wedding hookup… At least, that’s what I think when I touch down in paradise with four days to pull off a lavish ceremony fit for Hollywood royalty. The groomsman in the next cabana with baby blues and a chiseled jawline that could crack a coconut? He’s the cherry on top of my tropical cocktail, and exactly what I need to shake off my single status and get my head (and, um, other parts) back in the dating game.
Then Josh reveals the truth: he’s vowed to sabotage the big day and send the gold-digging bride running before his uncle even gets to ‘I do’. Suddenly, we’re on opposite sides of the great wedding war, and I refuse to let this happily-ever-after – or my career – go down without a fight.
But Josh plays dirty… and he talks it, too. Even as I scramble to keep his sabotage shenanigans from derailing the happy(ish) couple, I can’t deny the chemistry between us. Sleeping with the enemy is looking awfully tempting…
They say all’s fair in love, war, and wedding planning… But whose happy ending am I chasing here? And can Josh and I turn our rivalry into real romance before it’s too late?
Find out in the sizzling new romance from “the reigning queen of rom-com,” Lila Monroe!
From their first interaction this pair were attracted but both chalked their airport meeting up to a missed opportunity….. until they met again at a celebrity wedding on a Caribbean island.
Hazel is a single mum, way out of the dating game who has a tendency to chatter on and on when nervous – where Josh was concerned she also had a tendency to fall over! She’s overseeing an OTT, mega $$ celebrity wedding but things are not going entirely to plan.
For his part, Josh had been bitten before in a relationship and wasn’t at all expecting his reaction to Hazel. I did like his tenacity when it came to spending time with her and then when he wanted to see where things could go between them.
When Hazel found out Josh’s motivations behind his attendance at the wedding I got why she was so mad, especially as it was her job to make sure the wedding went ahead without a hitch.. Josh did overstep a little but I liked how he realised where and when he’s gone wrong and that he did have regrets.
This pair were funny together. I loved their banter and their heat… Lordy, they were combustible together.
I adored Lottie and how quickly she and Josh connected.
Lila Monroe gave us a fun, laugh inducing, entertains read with Hazel & Josh’s story.
I do have to admit that I laughed a lot when things were going wrong with the wedding and even though I couldn’t quite make up my mind about the bride, my heart hurt for her when the dust settled, so I’m now desperately waiting to find out how Avery’s story goes!!!

A best friend’s brother stand-alone from small-town romance author Brooke Montgomery about a girl who falls pregnant by the wrong man and the cowboy who takes her in…
I’ve crushed on my best friend’s brother for years.
He’s a six-foot-three, dark-haired cowboy who works on his family’s ranch and sends butterflies to my stomach anytime he looks at me. But he’s never made a move, so I need to get over it.
Except, when he reads a text message about me liking a mysterious guy, he snaps and demands answers. Little does he know, it’s my code name for him.
When he finally confesses he likes me too, I find out I’m pregnant. With my ex-boyfriend’s baby.
After spending three weeks together in secret, my world turns upside down when that little white stick reveals a positive sign from the one-night stand I had before him.
Now everything’s a mess and my life’s spiraling out of control.
I can’t expect him to date me anymore, so I insist we return to being friends. The last thing he needs is a girl who’s carrying another man’s baby and about to be a first-time mom.
But when my apartment gets broken into, and there’s a suspected criminal on the loose, he insists I move in with him to keep me safe.
Staying platonic proves to be harder with each passing day as he goes with me to my appointments, takes me baby shopping, and stocks the kitchen with all my weird cravings. He’s so involved that everyone assumes he’s the father. And I don’t correct them.
But the truth always comes out in a Southern small town.
Stay With Me is book 2 in the Sugarland Creek series. Each book in this Southern, small town series is a stand-alone and ends in a happily ever after.
Oh lord, I was not expecting Tripp Hollis…. To be honest, I don’t think Magnolia Sutherland was expecting him either!!!
This pair have danced around each other for years, neither being brave enough to take a chance until finally Tripp is pushed into action.
Magnolia/Sunny doesn’t have a great relationship track record and her ex, Travis, has always been a reason why Tripp never let his feeling for her be known. Regardless of what Travis did – and he did some really shady stuff – Magnolia always seemed to end up back with him. She’s been Travis free for a couple of years until one night, a shot of the green eued monster, a misunderstanding and too much booze sent her back for one last night……
It’s around this time that Tripp thinks Magnolia has her eye on someone else and finally decides to make a move. This guys…. Honestly, he’s one of the best book boyfriends I’ve read in a good while. He’s patient, doesn’t push for more than Sunny is able to give him and even when things don’t go as planned he’s not going anywhere. His determination to have the relationship and future with Magnolia that he has wanted for years is overwhelming. Sunny can’t quite believe he means what he says (especially as she’s never had someone look out for and be there for her specifically in a relationship) but the gods, this man shows her exactly what he wants.
Together these two were smokin’ hot. For a sweet guy Tripp had a dirty filthy mouth (and I was there for it!!). Sunny for her part wasn’t afraid to tell him what she wanted and had a dirty wee mouth of her own.
I liked the suspense – even though we had a good idea of who was up to no good – the banter was great, catching up with the rest of the Hollis family (I LOCE Grandma Grace) finding out about Mags’ family background and following Noah & Fisher in their next step all made for a fantastic read.
I’m so looking forward to Fall With Me. I’m pretty sure Ellie is gonna give Landen a run for his money
You could read this book as a standalone but I’d seriously recommend starting with the novella Come With Me and going from there!

BLP REVIEW – Tracy
I’m a fan of Freya and her books but Edge of Nowhere was more than I expected.
Wapi and Lindsey made a great couple and I really liked their book. I particularly enjoyed that their story took place mainly away from their home ground and involved some well known faces that I definitely was not expecting to catch up with!!
Wapi had a fair amount of guilt and regrets that he piled on himself as he hadn’t been able to save Lindsey from previous harm.. so much so that he disappeared and stayed away for a few years. Once he came home and got his head on straight he showed how loyal and committed he could be and proved more than once that he was always gonna be there for Linds.
Lindsey, understandably, was leery about having much to do with Wapi given his lack of contact, disappearance and ‘sudden’ interest on his return. She was strong, resourceful and determined and showed these traits through her actions during the read.
This pair had a connection that Lindsey thought was going somewhere prior to Wapi taking off and this spark and attraction hadn’t dulled much in the time since. I loved seeing them in a different place, adjusting and adapting to what was going on around them and building their relationship.
There were a couple of different threads and a few surprises in the story and I’m hoping to catch up with some things in future books. My only wee quibble…… there was a big surprise that I would have loved to see a reaction to…. that aside, this was a fab, action packed, suspenseful read and another hit from Freya.

I’m her brother’s best friend, and for the past ten years, I’ve also been Addison McKenzie’s dirty little secret.
My pro-hockey player lifestyle kept me from her, but I thought we had a good thing going. Burning up the sheets whenever I visited home worked well for us.
Or so I thought.
When a season-ending injury sends me back to Starlight Cove, I find out she thinks of me as nothing more than a mistake.
She’s trying her hardest to ignore my presence, but being snowed in together is making that difficult.
So is sharing a bed.
Old habits die hard, and it’s no surprise we fall right back into each other. Undeniable chemistry was never our problem, though. Making it last in the real world was.
But I’ve been in love with Addison for years. And I have no intention of giving up on us now.
This is one of my favourite books so far this year…. and Chase Lockhart is by far my fave MMC of the series!!!!
The gods… this pair!!! What Addidon McKenzie thought and perceived and what actually happened were polar opposites…. but she was hell bent on not giving her long time ‘partner’ a second in order to find out the truth.
The push and pull, the dogged determination of Chase to get his girl and the stubbornness and determination of Addy to ignore him…..they were perfect for each other, he knew that and just needed her to get on board, and was positive he would, if he could get her to actually talk to him.
Thankfully he got his chance when they get snowed-in. Ok, Addy isn’t over the moon being stuck with the last person she expected to see that day and the one person she wanted to avoid, but truth be told, she never stood a chance, even if they hadn’t ended up stuck together as they did.
The things this man did with her in mind FOR 10 YEARS without her realising.. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 When the truth all came out….. my heart was bursting (in the best of ways!!!!)
So many emotions, the highs, the banter, the ‘gift’ and holy smokes THE HEAT, this book had it all. The scene where their relationship became public knowledge….. it was awesome!!
I love a book with no third act break up so that there was none here added even more to my appreciation of Addy & Chase’s story. Loved catching up with the brothers and their significant others.
I’m sad this series is coming to an end but I’m so very excited for Levi’s story and can’t wait for what Brighton is gonna give us when it comes to him and his girl!!!
5 huge possessive heart shaped stars for this fabulous read!
Meet Brighton Walsh:
Award-winning USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brighton Walsh spent a decade as a professional photographer before taking her storytelling in a different direction and reconnecting with her first love—writing. She likes her books how she likes her tea—steamy and satisfying—and adores strong-willed heroines and the protective heroes who fall head over heels for them. Brighton lives in the Midwest with her real life hero of a husband, her two kids—both taller than her—and her dog who thinks she’s a queen. Her boy-filled house is the setting for dirty socks galore, frequent dance parties (okay, so it’s mostly her, by herself, while her children look on in horror), and more laughter than she thought possible.
Love wasn’t part of the blueprint when high school sweethearts reunite in their small town. But this former military man never forgot the girl he left behind and he’s more determined than ever to rebuild their relationship brick by brick and heart by heart.
Getting locked in the men’s restroom during my mother’s funeral wasn’t exactly how I expected to run into my high school sweetheart. The one who got away. The one who broke my heart.
I could toss the busted doorknob in my hand at him, but I’d prefer to get the heck away. Because twenty years later, Knox Sylver isn’t a teenage boy anymore but a broad-shouldered, thick scruff man with eyes that still look at me like I’m the only person in the room.
As a newly divorced mother of two teenagers, it’s been a long time since anyone sees me. And Knox is definitely watching.
Unfortunately, he made choices in the past and I wasn’t one of them.
According to him, that is ancient history.
Also, according to him, it’s never too late for a second chance. He’s out to prove he’s solid and stable, having returned to our small hometown, in a better place after a career in the military. He’s a local hero as a fireman and he wants to rekindle the flame between us.
I’m the one with decisions this round.
Do I stay where memories hurt? Or do I leave my past, and Knox, behind me again?

Title: The Bride’s Runaway Billionaire Series: Three BFFS and a Wedding #3 Author: Pippa Grant
Genre: Romantic Comedy Tropes: Runaway Bride/Oops Baby/Small Town Single Mom/Second Chance/Celebrity Hero Release Date: January 18, 2024
BLURB
Being the star of the world’s most viral runaway bride video wasn’t how I envisioned my future when I woke up on my wedding morning, but here we are.
With me hiding from the world in Fiji where I’m now honeymooning solo.
And where I just tripped over my number one celebrity crush, hungover and sleeping on my little porch.
Turns out Jonas Rutherford, Razzle Dazzle movie star and heir to the entertainment conglomerate’s billions, is having his own relationship issues and is here hiding too after details of his scandalous divorce went public.
I didn’t think inviting him in for a hangover cure would lead to us getting friendly. And friendlier. And then—okay, yes.
I slept with him. Who can blame a girl? When you’re suddenly unexpectedly single and the number one guy on your freebie list is available, you leap.
But when I wake up the next morning, I discover I’m not the only runaway in my life, because he’s just ghosted me.
It’s fine. I’m fine. Neither one of us is in a position to start an actual relationship.
But three years later?
When he crashes my brother’s wedding?
Where the son that he’s just discovered he has is serving as ring bearer?
Life was a lot easier when I was just a runaway bride.
The Bride’s Runaway Billionaire is a deliciously juicy and utterly swoony romcom featuring a jaded optimist who’s had enough of the limelight, a happy-go-lucky celebrity whose world has been upside down since that fling after his divorce, the most adorable two-year-old on the planet, and a chicken with an attitude. While this book stands alone, you won’t go wrong to read The Worst Wedding Date, The Gossip and the Grump, and The Last Eligible Billionaire first.
Pippa Grant wanted to write books, so she did. Before she became a USA Today and #1 Amazon bestselling romantic comedy author, she was a young military spouse who got into writing as self-therapy. That happened around the time she discovered reading romance novels, and the two eventually merged into a career. Today, she has more than 30 knee-slapping Pippa Grant titles and nine written as Jamie Farrell. When she’s not writing romantic comedies, she’s fumbling through being a mom, wife, and mountain woman, and sometimes trying to find hobbies. Her crowning achievement? Having impeccable timing for telling stories that will make people snort beverages out of their noses. Consider yourself warned.
There’s only one course of action when your dad wants you to marry a clammy-handed wimp to make one of his board members happy—you get yourself stuck in an elevator with a hot stranger and have the steamiest make-out session of your life. Years of etiquette lessons went out the window thanks to Cameron Wilder, who managed to unleash my hidden bad girl with naught but his talented mouth and deliciously rough hands.
Afterwards, he went back to his small-town life, and I marched home to inform my dad there would be no business-centric nuptials. As punishment, he shipped me off to Sisters, Oregon and demanded I turn a healthy profit on a not-so-healthy property.
You see where I’m going with this—the buttoned-up city girl stuck in a small town hires a local builder to help her … and he’s the hot stranger from the elevator. Turns out, I have a weakness for the broad-shouldered nice guy who’s not so nice behind closed doors. Keeping things professional gets harder the longer I’m in town, until the only lesson I have left to learn is how to keep both our hearts from getting broken.
Karla Sorensen is an Amazon top 20 bestselling author who refuses to read or write anything without a happily ever after. When she’s not devouring historical romance or avoiding the laundry, you can find her watching football (British AND American), HGTV or listening to Enneagram podcasts so she can psychoanalyze everyone in her life, in no particular order of importance. With a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University, she made her living in senior healthcare prior to writing full-time. Karla lives in Michigan with her husband, two boys and a big, shaggy rescue dog named Bear.
“Where are you going?” I ask as she tries to slip past me to the stairs.
She turns to face me, pointing at a spot on her blouse, but my eyes get hung up on the peek of cleavage the generous V allows.
“Nice. You look great.”
She does. The boots, the worn jeans, the flowy top, and the fuckable hairdo. She looks hot.
“Excuse me, that’s not where I’m pointing,” she schools me. “I need to put some water on this, you made me spill my taco,” she clarifies.
“I did?”
Seems like a bit of a stretch, given that I was here and she was sitting all the way over there, but I like the sound of putting water on her blouse. It’ll only improve the view.
“You startled me. What are you doing here anyway?” she asks, narrowing her eyes on me.
I lean my hip against the railing and cross my arms, smirking at her.
“Watching the rodeo, like everyone else.”
She crosses her own arms and grins back. “Let me guess, this was a last-minute decision?”
Her eyes sparkle, drawing me in.
“Maybe,” I concede, taking a step closer.
“It wouldn’t have anything to do with me being here, would it?” she probes.
“It’s a distinct possibility.”
I take another step until I’m flush against her. Then, with the tip of my finger, I lift her chin and take her mouth. It’s so damn easy to get lost in this woman, I almost forget where I am until a couple of whistles go up behind me.
Then someone yells, “Not the kind of bucking I thought I was in for tonight. Sit the hell down or get a damn room!”
Releasing Lindsey, I snap my head around to pinpoint the smart-ass. Instead, I catch sight of Booger and the other two I decided to bring, snickering in their seats. So I shoot them a glare instead.
At that moment Lindsey makes her escape, darting down the stairs. I point a finger at the boys. “Do not move.” Then I take off after her.
I just catch sight of her slipping into the bathrooms and resign myself to wait outside. I lean my back against the wall and get comfortable, but I don’t have to wait that long before she reappears. She tries to hide a smile when she catches sight of me pushing off from the wall.
“You know, I could probably find my own way back.”
“I’m aware,” I tell her, touching the wet spot on her shirt before lifting my hands to her face. “But I just needed another taste without the audience.”
I keep the kiss short and sweet. An appetizer for later.
“I’ll come by after.”
She tilts her head. “I’m sorry, I must have missed the question in there.” Then she glances past me toward the rodeo arena. “And you’re making me miss the cowboys.”
“F*ck the cowboys,” I grumble, giving her hair a little tug. “If I show up later, will you be home?”
“Probably. Unless I get a better offer,” she teases, before brushing past me toward the stairs.
“You’d better be,” I call after her. “Or I’ll come looking for you.”
At the base of the stairs, she looks back, a smirk on her face.
“Yippee ki-yay.”
