It makes me happy when there’s a new release from one of my favourite authors but when two share a release….. I’m over the moon…. especially when it’s these gals and another instalment of the Happy Cat standalone series.

We knew from previous books that there was something going on between Blake & Hope but never really knew until the blurb for Hitched was released… and then the tension and sparks between them made some sense.

I loved this pair. Blake was so determined for things to be different this time around, if only he could convince Hope that not all marriages and partnerships were like those she had witnessed growing up.

Hope for her part wanted to believe but she had such a fear of history repeating itself that she couldn’t completely trust that things were meant to be between them.

This pair were destined to be together. The chemistry, connection and comfort they found with each other yelled out that they were supposed to be a couple.

As ever from Pippa Grant & Lili Valente this story was joy to read.

Packed with crazy goings on, all our favourite family members and friends as well as a whole host of adopted animals – George and his wee family are tricksy, cheeky and a ton of fun… – I didn’t want to put my kindle down, even when I really had to!!

I’m looking forward to more from these authors and our next trip to Happy Cat!

If I’m going to die, at least I want to live in the fantasy of this man loving me one more time. Just that thought has me pressing my hands under his shirt to feel his hot, hard muscle beneath my palms.

He pulls his shirt over his head, and then he’s pulling jacket and shirt off before our mouths collide again, and he’s taking us down on the mattress. Lordy, with so many twists, turns and more questions thrown up than answers….. Dirty Rich Secrets – Part 1 is another fabulous start to this latest trilogy from Lisa Renee Jones

Ashley has already been through a lot and had so much information about Noah/Aaron fed to her that when he comes back into her life she doesn’t know what or who to believe!!

The sexy, mysterious CIA agent’s return brings with it danger and intrigue that threatens to knock Ashley’s world sideways, again, and though he professes to love her, Noah/Aaron is still keeping secrets – but are they to protect him, her or someone else??

Ending on another helluva cliffhanger, I cannot wait to find out what’s next for this pair and have everything crossed that we get Noah/Aaron’s POV and at least a little bit more of what’s really going on in Part 2!!!

BPL Review- Tracy

Pippa Grant makes me smile, hugely!!!!

Her books are fun, entertaining, LOL funny and hot – often with a bit of a slow burn and a sprinkling of love/hate – but they are without doubt, some of my happy places!!

Grady Rock and Annika Williams are smokin’ hot together – their ‘best friends/now enemies/could they be more’ relationship was fabulous reading and I was rooting for them from the get go…. even when Grady was being a mean man-child to his old friend.

The reasons for Annika’s return and subsequent baking war with the guy she loved as a teen, were sad and you felt for the 3 Williams girls, not just our leading lady.

Who’d have thought a goat named Sue could be instrumental in trying to get two people pointed in the right direction to work out what they really still meant to each other!?!

Master Baker – don’t say that too fast or while drunk!! 😉 – was another hit in this standalone series from one of my favourite authors.
