Coconuts are itchy. I should’ve gone for the watermelons.

But it was a bitch and a half getting that last-minute private fitting at Madame Cosette’s anyway, and the woman probably would’ve had to stitch three bras together and then nailed the damn contraption to my shoulders to get it to hold without losing a melon, so coconuts it is.

Besides, it’s the heels that are gonna be the bigger problem. Damn good thing I have ankles of fucking steel.

And my minidress is stretched to max capacity over the coconuts anyway. It’s also in danger of showing my other coconuts, if you catch my drift. And there’s definitely a drift—or is that a draft?—on my other coconuts.

BLP REVIEW ~ Tracy

I love the Moonshire Task Force series and even though we didn’t know much about Ace before his story I’ve been looking forward to reading this book.

I have to admit that this story was a little different from what we’ve come to expect from Laramie Briscoe when it comes to the MTF. With a little of the moonshine story arc that has been present in the previous books this instalment was more about the relationship between Anthony and Violet, the MTF ‘family’ and things going on with Caleb.

I really loved how patient and caring Ace was when it came to Vi. He was determine to win her over but knew he couldn’t rush her given her past and hellish first marriage. Violet was one strong woman – she overcame the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband and managed to trust again. I have to say that I think so much of her ability to move on came as a result of Anthony’s attention, care and support.

While it took a while for this couple to get together, the relationship they nurtured was sweet, caring and full of spark (even when they didn’t act on it!!)

Not as action packed as others but this was a really good read and set us up for the next book, which features Mason/Menace.

BLP REVIEW ~ Tracy

A Prefect Fit was a cute, sexy, fun read. I really liked Dunk and Daisy, as well as being hot when they get together, they were a fab couple outside the bedroom.

Until meeting Daisy, Dunk was pretty easy going and a hit with the ladies, but he was beginning to realise that he wants more than the hook-ups he’s had ’til now. Though it looks otherwise from first glance, Dunk is quite different from the usual book boyfriend we meet – there’s more to him than meets the eye – and I think that was one of the things that I liked best about him.
Daisy was sassy, down to earth and fed up of the ‘poor divorcee’ tag that the people in town have labeled her with. Dunk is great for her in that he sees ‘her’ and not her past.

I did my usual thing and went into this book not realising that even though it was a standalone read, it was part of a series of books by Zoe Lee featuring Dunk’s friends. I’m definitely gonna check out the previous reads.

My only little issue with the story was that it could have been a little shorter – it was a shortish read as it was but there was some of the book that just felt a little drawn out and unnecessary and for that reason I’m rating A Perfect Fit3.9*
