BLP REVIEW – Tracy

I love Laramie’s books and this was no exception.

A little different from her series books that I can’t get enough of and because of that it was the perfect read for me at this point.

Blake & Willa were perfect and I could definitely have read more about the pair as their connection and spark was instant and their banter was great.

Blake with his determination to see Willa was just fab, even if his plan didn’t quite work.
How they were finally put in each others’ path and the organic growth of their relationship made for such great reading.

This was such an easy, engaging, heartwarming but smoldering read. Everything about this pair shouted that they were meant to be together.

A really fun, enjoyable read – it definitely gives you a little current celebrity couple vibe – this was a hit for me!!!!

BLP REVIEW – Tracy

A new series and a new-to-me author but I’ll definitely be reading more Penelope Black books!!

I loved Jasper & Coraline’s story – even though it had one of my most disliked tropes …. yep, a big ol’ case of non-communication!!!!

Anyhoo…. When this pair come together again they’re better placed to be in a relationship and even though it starts out as fake (for one of them at least) it doesn’t take long for both of them to realize what and who they want.

The storyline with the ex and the new found family kinda overlapped and the murders had me second guessing for a while. There were more than a couple of crazy people to deal with in the book and jeez, were they detestable!

I really liked Hawke. The gods help whatever girl falls for him! 😉

There was a lot to like about this book and the heat between our MC’s was lava hot! That one particular scene…. big time phew!!! 🥵🥵🥵

I’m looking forward to more of this series and hopefully catching up with Cora & Jasper.
