Oh lord, I was not expecting Tripp Hollisβ¦. To be honest, I donβt think Magnolia Sutherland was expecting him either!!!
This pair have danced around each other for years, neither being brave enough to take a chance until finally Tripp is pushed into action.
Magnolia/Sunny doesnβt have a great relationship track record and her ex, Travis, has always been a reason why Tripp never let his feeling for her be known. Regardless of what Travis did – and he did some really shady stuff – Magnolia always seemed to end up back with him. Sheβs been Travis free for a couple of years until one night, a shot of the green eued monster, a misunderstanding and too much booze sent her back for one last nightβ¦β¦
Itβs around this time that Tripp thinks Magnolia has her eye on someone else and finally decides to make a move. This guysβ¦. Honestly, heβs one of the best book boyfriends Iβve read in a good while. Heβs patient, doesnβt push for more than Sunny is able to give him and even when things donβt go as planned heβs not going anywhere. His determination to have the relationship and future with Magnolia that he has wanted for years is overwhelming. Sunny canβt quite believe he means what he says (especially as sheβs never had someone look out for and be there for her specifically in a relationship) but the gods, this man shows her exactly what he wants.
Together these two were smokinβ hot. For a sweet guy Tripp had a dirty filthy mouth (and I was there for it!!). Sunny for her part wasnβt afraid to tell him what she wanted and had a dirty wee mouth of her own.
I liked the suspense – even though we had a good idea of who was up to no good – the banter was great, catching up with the rest of the Hollis family (I LOCE Grandma Grace) finding out about Magsβ family background and following Noah & Fisher in their next step all made for a fantastic read.
Iβm so looking forward to Fall With Me. Iβm pretty sure Ellie is gonna give Landen a run for his money
You could read this book as a standalone but Iβd seriously recommend starting with the novella Come With Me and going from there!

My favourite genre is PNR - yep, more than happy to admit that Iβm a bit of a #parawhores...... but small town is a very close second!!! In saying that, Iβll read and review a real mix of genres - from the better known authors to new-to-me authors and everything in between.
