Beck threw his head back in laughter. I’d just insulted the guy, and he was amused. “I guess I made a pretty sh*tty first impression.” I deadpanned. “You told me I should look someplace more respectable for my dates.” “I thought you deserved better.” “I think you’re full of sh*t. You’re only being nice now because you know I was looking for a night of no strings attached, and you think you have a shot at being my replacement.” “Am I out of the running?” I took a moment to check him out again. Damn, he’s pretty. “You’re only hanging on by a thread because you’re gorgeous.” A slow, sexy smile spread across his face. “I like your honesty.” “I like your jawline.” His eyes gleamed. “You’ll like my big di¢k even better.” I bit my bottom lip. The conversation had just taken a turn toward most of my Tinder messages—definitely a place I was more comfortable than talking about why I wanted to forget my life for a while. “How do I know you’re not a serial killer?” “How did you know the Tinder loser wasn’t?” Good point. I sipped my wine. “How old are you?” “Old enough that I know what to do with you, and young enough that I don’t have to take a pill to do it.” I smirked. “Is that so? You know what to do with me?” He smiled self-assuredly. “I do, yes.” The air crackled between us. For some reason, I knew this guy could deliver on his promise. Maybe it was his quiet confidence, or maybe it was that a man who looked the way he did got lots of practice. The latter would’ve been a turnoff if I was looking for more than one night, but it didn’t much matter if it served my purposes for a one-time deal. I looked into his too-blue eyes. “Tell me then.” “Tell you what?” “What you would do with me.” The wicked grin that slid across his face almost made me want to take back what I’d asked. Almost. Beck lifted his glass and gulped his drink before leaning over to my ear. “I’d start by… ★★★

This is the third time my life has fallen apart.
What I had pretended to be in the past is now banging on the door of my present.
After living so many different lives, each one is a more faded version of myself. Who am I now? Who do I want to be?
Does Sam feel my body desperately reaching for his?
I don’t know who I am if I don’t mean anything to Kat.
After Kat dropped a bomb on my life, I’m filling my time with parties and fake shit. I need something else to keep me going. Something that won’t make me think about her.
I’m somehow still tied to her. Like our connection is too tightly knotted to be unwound.
I will always, always crawl back to her. Wherever she is.
One accident. One sizzling connection. A million reasons why this shouldn’t work.
Quiet and simple is how I like my life. Until Sam Booker—snowboarder, charmer, heartbreaker—crashes into my world and changes everything. I’m supposed to help him heal, but he’s not the only one that’s hurting.
He insists we’re destined. But are his feelings real?
Kat Peters is mine.
I want to show her the world, push her boundaries, but she won’t leave her life on the bunny hill in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Amara
Tyler Collins has always been the object of my affection. He just doesn’t know it. I’ve spent years admiring him, fantasizing about him, but never once making a move. That is until I see him across the room, already a few beers in and drunkenly decide to press my lips to his. One minute I’m sharing a drink with a friend, and the next, I’m Kissing My Crush.
Now I’m trapped at a beautiful resort with the man I so desperately want to avoid, to celebrate the nuptials of our dear friends.
I can feel his eyes on me. He’s watching. Waiting for what I’m not sure. The fear of rejection is too strong for me to mention the kiss. That night is on constant replay in my mind. I often wonder how he would react if I could confess that to me, our kiss was not a drunken mistake.
Tyler
Quiet, sweet Amara, the one woman I never expected to crave and the one I can’t seem to shake. One unexpected kiss, and now all I can think about is her lips pressed to mine.
I’ve managed to avoid attachments, keeping things casual and enjoying one day at a time. Yet, a timid blonde marches across a hazy bar and grabs hold of my hair, giving me the kiss that changes it all. Changes me.
She wants to pretend it never happened, but I never was much for playing games. She might want me to believe the kiss was forgettable, but we both know better. Hands down the hottest kiss of my life.
That moment with her wasn’t nothing. It was everything. It was the turning point and the start of something I know without a doubt will be more than we both ever could have expected.
C.A. Harms is a new to me author, that said, I really enjoyed reading Kissing My Crush.
Tyler & Amara are part of the same group of friends and had known each other for years. Amara has had a crush for a quite a while on Tyler while he’s been oblivious; add in that he has been avoiding serious relationships for his adult life so far, it’s no wonder Amara can’t see a future with her crush.
How Tyler found out Amaya liked him was funny, ok, Amara found it embarrassing and that steered her reactions to Tyler for some of the story. Her revelation definitely gave him some good for thought and he took a look at how others saw him.
This pair worked so well together because they had that history, knew and genuinely liked each other. It wasn’t a difficult step from friends to more – or wouldn’t be if Tyler could get Amara to open up and see him as more than his reputation painted.
Looking forward to more in this series… Given that each book is by a different author the story arc flows well and the books have all been entertaining.
C.A. Harms is an avid romance and mystery reader. She’s always had a love for books, getting lost in writing and storytelling even as a young girl. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories.
She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes…thankfully.
She is easy going, fun, and although she may seem like one of the quiet ones at first, you just wait until she gets to know you better…that quietness changes, fast.
