Juggling two jobs is nothing new for registered nurse, Hillary Glenwood, she’s been doing it for most of her adult life. She has an objective she intends to meet. But, just months before reaching her goal, she witnesses a violent attack outside her apartment that rattles her determination.
However, her carefully controlled life runs completely off the rails when she recognizes the new neighbor coming to the rescue.
As a hacker, Radar Jansen hasn’t always used his expertise in the most respectable ways until he came to work for PASS Security. Normally his time is spent behind a computer, but that doesn’t mean his skills end there.
When—walking his dog one night—he sees a familiar woman rushing into a dangerous situation, his training kicks in.
With Hillary’s safety compromised, the keyboard warrior puts on his real life armor to shield the woman who is fast becoming his only focus.

BLP REVIEW – Tracy
I’m loving the PASS series…. Hilary & Radar are another couple who are that little bit older, who both have life experience and when it comes to relationships they don’t play games.
I really liked Hilary. She’s cautious but strong, self reliant and has built walls to keep both her and her heart safe…. I got where she was coming from but liked that she could see Radar as more than just a friend of a friend, even though it was hard work at points – and even I wondered a time or two if the effort was honestly worth it.
Radar (aka Murray – I liked the story behind the nickname) was a good guy. He’d had a dodgy past but worked hard to overcome that. Part of the PASS team, he was hard working and dedicated but gods… when he got in the zone he got lost there…. which were the points where I could easily slapped him upside the head!!!
All our favourites from previous books were involved as well as new characters – I loved Radar’s dad and brother – but there was one individual in particular who was vile and completely unlikable… sadly I’ve come across a few people like this in the past. 😕
There was a lot of suspense, action and heat as we’ve come to expect and enjoy from Ms Freya. The main story thread I could actually imagine reading about to some degree in RL which I have to say was a little disconcerting to think about!!!!
Looking forward to more in the series…. and wondering how one particular couple are gonna fare when it’s their turn!!!
4.5* recommended read.
