I was only introduced to the work of Alexis Noelle in September of this year when I read her ‘Sexy Beginnings‘. I really enjoyed that book and was looking forward to reading Kiss My Crown having read a chapter teaser at the end of SB.

Kiss My Crown was a fun, laugh out loud read. With princesses, not-so-charming princes, evil villains, fairies, pirates and furry animals (ok, peeps in costumes!!) this book… yep, even though it’s fiction… will make me look at theme parks quite differently from now on!! 😉

Kate, Mel and Dani were really good characters. Friends who lived and worked together, I loved their snark and banter.
Justin was so relaxed, a fun, likable guy who was really good for Kate.

Kate is the ‘princess’ of the park but she’s not having the greatest of times, her princes is actually a rat, her heart’s not really in her job and things begin to look a little precarious for her with regards her current position. I felt for her at points but also wanted to yell at her a little when it came to her over-thinking on the hierarchy in the park and the thoughts and opinions of the people she worked with.
Justin was more a prince charming that Kate’s ex could ever hope to be. He didn’t worry about what anyone thought, wasn’t interested in being part of the ‘in-crowd’ and just wanted Kate as his girlfriend – he couldn’t care less that she was a park princess.
The conversations and interactions between this pair were such good fun and there was one scene where I was laughing so hard I was crying…. you’ll know it when you read it!!
