COVER REVEAL ~ Tangled Innocence (Dante’s Circle #4) by Carrie Ann Ryan

Tangled Inn cover

TANGLED INNOCENCE (Dante’s Circle Book 4)
Coming April 15th

Humans aren’t as alone as they choose to believe. Every human possesses a trait of supernatural that lays dormant within their genetic make-up. Centuries of diluting and breeding have allowed humans to think they are alone and untouched by magic. But what happens when something changes?

As one of the seven lightning struck women, Nadie Morgan has known for a while now that her fate would be forever changed…and revolve around a certain dragon. From the first time Dante Bell saw Nadie, he knew she was the one for him. There’s just one problem–there’s another in his life he’s waiting on as well.

When Jace Goodwin, a bear shifter and Mediator, finally comes back to the human realm after years away under circumstances out of his control, his first stop is to Dante’s Circle where he not only finds his dragon, but the woman they both have been waiting for.

Once secrets are told and the sparks fly, Nadie’s new life becomes something she never thought possible. However there’s another realm at play and Jace and Nadie’s dragon will have to fight harder than he’s ever fought before to keep the life he’s waited eons for.

Warning: Contains one not-so-innocent human, a bear known for his bear-hugs, a tattooed and pierced dragon with a fiery temper, and a connection so explosive, you’ll be fanning yourself from page one.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ~ & 2014 Book Challenges!!

2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY LOVELIES………

Can’t believe that’s us into another year already!! I must be getting old as I’d swear the last 12 months has flown by!!
2013 was a very mixed year for me but one of the biggest highlights was finally getting to meet some of the wonderful girls on our DDD Book Club. We went to Galveston in Texas and had an awesome few days there – having fun, catching up and enjoying a drink or 10!!!  Can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard or as much!!!!  😉
Loved meeting them all and now we only have 14 months until we catch up again, this time in Vegas – this time there’s gonna be a helluva lot more Divas than last year!!!  😀

This year I once again signed up to the Goodreads Book Challenge.

Last year I chose a target of 50 books – it was the first time I’d done anything like this and tbh, wasn’t really sure how many books I should go for……

I found out my total yesterday – I had hit target (barely) but I thought that was quite good…… Until I started comparing the books on my kindle to those on my GR list and also what I had actually read to what was on my TBR list…..
It would appear that I’ve actually read a fair few more than the 50 I went for…. how many more I’m not entirely sure and I now think it would be too much work to go back over 1300+ books to update the list just out of interest!!!  :-\

This year my target # is 200…… So far I’m nearly finished my first full read of the year (A Carrie Ann Ryan ARC) but I have completed a reread of one of my fave books of last year….. Today, our DDD Book Club is discussing Craving Constellations so I decided a third read was in order last night!!!

***********************************************************************************************************************************

I’ve also signed up for Anna’s 2014 Erotic Romance Reading Challenge over at Herding Cats & Burning Soup…..
I’ve plumped for Level 3 ~ 24 Erotic Romances this year…. Think that’s attainable, don’t you?!? Can always revise my target (either way) if I feel I need to…

If you’re interested in joining Anna’s Challenge, check out the details below!!!

We’re hosting an Erotic Romance Reading Challenge in 2014! Hope you’ll join us!

Recommendation & Review ~ Craving Constellations by Nicole Jacquelyn

BLURB:

“How is it, that someone can make decision after decision attempting to get away from their past and somehow end up right back where they started?”
When Brenna decided to leave the only life she’d ever known, she never thought she’d ever be back. Now, five years later she’s running from her clean cut husband straight back to the motorcycle club that raised her… and the man she left behind. She left with a secret, and as soon as she returns the truth will break her carefully constructed life wide open.

MY REVIEW:

I had heard a few things, all positive, before I got to reading Craving Constellations. I have to say, for me, they were all correct!!

Nicole Jacquelyn gave us a fantastic first book in the Aces MC series and I honestly couldn’t believe it was her first published book!!!! I loved it – it’s one of my Top 10 reads of 2013 (I’ve already read it 3 times and it will be a favourite ‘Go To’ book I know!!)

There’s enough reviews already that tell you what the story is all about so I’m not gonna go into it!

The one thing I will say is that violence to women isn’t something that I would necessarily want to read about but in certain situations I can work my way through it…… as hard to read as it may be!!

I liked all of the main characters we met – didn’t always like that they did or said but for me they rounded out the story well. I absolutely hated the wife beating bastard that Brenna was running away from and the twisted ex of Dragon’s was a bitch… but I have to say they were well written for me to hate them as I did!!!

Craving Constellations isn’t gonna be everyone’s kind of read but if you like your MC books a little darker and grittier then this is one you’ll love.

I am looking forward to the next book in the series ~ Craving Redemption ~ I’m sure I’m gonna love it as much as I did CC.

Nicole Jacquelyn is a single mom of two little girls and a full time college student. She hasn’t watched television in well over a year, she still does things that drive her mother crazy, and she loves to read. At eight years old, when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she told people she wanted to be a mom. When she was twelve her answer changed- to author. By the time she was eighteen, when people asked her what she wanted to do with her life, she told them she really wanted to be a writer- but the odds of that happening were so slim that she’d get her business degree “just to be safe”. Her dreams stayed constant. First she became a mom, then she went to college, and during her senior year- with one daughter in first grade and the other in preschool, she sat down and wrote a story. – See more at: http://www.scandaliciousbookreviews.com/?s=craving+constellations#sthash.fxeHqcyY.dpuf
