Review – Avenger’s Angel (Lost Angels #1) – by Heather Killough-Walden
Avenger’s Angel is the 1st book in The Lost Angels series by Heather Killough Walden.

The new series is quite different from what you would expect – think it has a unique take on the whole angel idea.
Uriel & Ellie’s story isn’t straightforward with a number of twists and turns. You quickly get to a point where you just don’t want to put the book down!!
I love the relationship and interaction of the 4 brothers throughout the book and the knowledge we gain about each of them – think this sets us up nicely for their own stories in the rest of the series.
Great characters – good and bad – fast paced & action packed plot which was gripping. I found the story quite intense at points.
I’m a big fan of all of HKW’s work – I’m so looking forward to the rest of the books in this series.
For a read that’s gonna draw you in and keep your interest to the end, with a great story and really likeable characters give Avenger’s Angel a shot…… You won’t be disappointed and I bet you’ll come back for more!!
Review – A Sinister Game – by Heather Killough-Walden
I was one of the lucky peeps who won a review copy of ‘A Sinister Game’ by Heather Killough-Walden.

I received the book in wee small hours and that was that – no more sleep for me last night!!!
I had heard & read loads of great things about the original story but nothing could have prepared me for the edited & updated book!!! It knocked my socks off – I just could not put it down. Absolutely loved everything about it.
The characters of Victor Black & Victoria Red were fab – I really enjoyed how they (and their feelings/emotions) grew throughout the story as the Game developed… The supporting characters were really great. The plot was interesting, gripping & fast paced. There were some very unexpected twists and turns, a fair bit of duplicity, some upset & a number of laugh out load moments. I went through just about every emotion possible while reading it…..
I think this is one of the best books HKW has written – that’s saying something as I just adore all of her work (I can’t wait for Death’s Angel to come out next month!! – Lost Angels – now there’s a fantastic series 😀 )
What are you waiting for? Get your hands on a copy of ‘A Sinister Game’ now – you won’t be disappointed – I’ll bet it’ll be one of the best books you’ve read in a while!!!!
Review – Until The Sun Falls From The Sky – Kristen Ashley
The first book in ‘The Three’ series, Until the Sun Falls from the Sky was a fantastic read.

Great storyline, which I’m looking forward to continuing in book 2.
Strong, engaging characters. Lots of action – it is a real page turner.
I love Kristen’s books, especially the ‘Dream Man’ titles but I think this trilogy will be one of the best series to date!!!
Even if you haven’t read any of KA’s other books, go grab yourself a copy of ‘Until the Sun’, you won’t regret it……..
Review – With Everything I Am – by Kristen Ashley
‘With Everything I Am’ is a the 2nd book in ‘The Three Series’ by Kristen Ashley.

I read the first instalment – Until the Sun Falls From The Sky – and thought it was a great book. Was so looking forward to With Everything I Am and was delighted to find that it didn’t disappoint, I thought it was FAB!!!
Great characters – I really loved Sonia. Callum was a totally alpha Werewolf King – it was interesting seeing how his character developed throughout the story.
Was delighted with the continuity of the book – the theme from the 1st book was carried through well without being overdone and the reappearance of characters we had met previously all helped to add to the plot – although you could probably read it as a stand alone and still really enjoy it.
Found the story to be a rollercoaster emotion wise. The plot was really good – quite gripping, with a number of twists and turns. It was really hard to motivate myself to get things done while reading the book as I didn’t want to put it down!!
Looking forward to the final book in the series. The teaser at the end of ‘With Everything’ has piqued my interest!!!
A great series that deserves a read!!!!
Review – Enslave (VET #4) – Felicity Heaton
Felicity Heaton has come up with a tremendous series with the VET books.

Enslave, as with the 3 books before it, is a fab read.
I love all of the characters that Felicity has introduced us to in books 1-3 but it was nice to meet some new faces – look forward to seeing more of them all in the books still to come.
Andreu (Javier’s brother) was a very strong, intriguing character. Varya’s character was interesting & engaging and I thought she was a great match for Andreu.
As with the previous books, Felicity injects tons of romance, passion, chemistry, suspense and heat (there’s some great steamy sex scenes 😀 – not that you would you expect any less!!)
You will be taken on a really enjoyable emotional rollercoaster ride with ‘Enslave’!!!
Looking forward to future books in the series – especially Snow’s story – can’t wait to see how that goes!!!
Go on, dive into the VET series and grab yourself some delicious vampires (as well as some other fab paranormals) You’ll be so glad you did!!!
Review – Consumate Therapy (Omnibus Edition) – by Katie Salidas & Willsin Rowe
I love Katie Salidas’s books and knowing she was involved in ‘Consumate Therapy’ I knew it would be a fabulous read!!
Submission Therapy – Book 1 of 3 in the ‘Consumate Therapy’ series
The main characters both have very strong personalities:
Natasha is a billionaire company CEO – she’s powerful, obsessive, forceful and on first meeting her I thought she was really horrible…. She’s very opinionated & stubborn and at times comes across as cruel, mean, unkind and self absorbed.
Master Sweet is a Dom and he’s hot as hell. He isn’t likely to put up with any of Natasha’s attitude…..
The story, though short, was a good read and hot, hot, hot….
Occupational Therapy – book 2 in the series
After her first session with Master Sweet in ‘Submission Therapy’ we meet Natasha again and it seems she’s back to her worst! She has another session with Master Sweet – throughout this story she seems to begin to understand what he is trying to teach her….
Master Sweet is hotter in this book as he was in the 1st – honestly, the man is smokin’… We get to see his character develop a little as the story progresses.
‘Occupational Therapy’ was as good as expected but ended far to fast for me…..
Immersion Therapy – Book 3 series, continues right from where Occupational Therapy left off. Don’t want to say too much about what happens, would maybe give too much away and spoil the story if you haven’t yet read it
Throughout the book we see changes to both Natasha & Master Sweet (who is still as hot!!). The ‘will she, won’t she’ has you wondering which way she’s gonna jump……
I had been looking forward to reading Immersion Therapy and it did not disappoint. It was a fab end to a hot series…
If you haven’t tried these books, give them a shot – you’ll be glad you did.
They are short reads but Katie Salidas and Willsin Rowe have done a great job – they have given us great, interesting characters and a plot/story that is hot as hell.
Review – Wait for Me – by Elisabeth Naughton
I’ve previously read Elisabeth’s ‘Eternal Guardian’ series which I love….
When I read the blurb for ‘Wait for Me’ I wasn’t sure that I’d like it as much as her other work……. how wrong was I?!? Only wish I’d read it when I first downloaded it instead of waiting ’til now!!
I started reading the book this morning and could hardly put it down, even when I really had to – I stayed up late just to finish it I was so desperate to find out how it ended!!
I like the fact that we see things from both Kate & Ryan’s perspectives, it’s not all lovely dovey & things between the main characters aren’t nicely cut & dried. There was a nice wee side story running through the book which I enjoyed.
The plot was good, characters were believable & likeable. There was much frustration, attraction, suspense & a couple of twists – I was all over the place emotion wise – and of course there’s a good dose of heat & passion..
As the story flowed, we got to see the development of the relationship between Ryan & Kate. As in life, this was no straightforward affair and at times I wanted to shout at both of them in equal measure while at the same time hoping like mad that everything was gonna work out!!
It’s a wee gem of a book – can’t believe it’s still on as a freebie, I’d gladly pay full price to read a story like this!!
I’m really glad I decided to give it a go – it’s, in parts, both heartbreaking & heartwarming. Definitely a 5* from me!!!
Review – Enjoying the Show – Marie Harte
I picked up Enjoying the Show after reading the blurb on Amazon and thinking it sounded like a hot & fun read.
I really enjoyed it. Hot, steamy with a touch of blackmail, some fun and a fair dose of romance & tenderness.
I loved the main characters and the dynamic between Gage and Hailey was fun to follow.
The couple’s friends and family members that we are introuduced to throughout the book were likeable and I’m sure we’ll meet some of them again in future stories – as the first of 3 books about the Warren brothers, Enjoying the Show was a good introducion to the series.
Marie Harte knows how to write a steamy, interesting and entertaining book!!!
Review – Tall, Dark, and Deadly 3 book box set – by Lisa Renee Jones
Great set of books. Love the characters – Lisa Renee Jones knows just how to serve us up hot alpha males and strong sassy heroines…..
The books are fast paced & interesting. Storylines are good with a number of twists, turns & some suspense that will keep you reading into the wee small hours
The TD&D stories are peppered with healthy doses of passion & tension that more often than not leads to steamy action!!!!
Looking foward to Blake’s books…..
Review – Entranced (PowerUp! #7) – by Marie Harte
Entranced is the latest book in the PowerUp! series by Marie Harte in which we finally get to find out more about the mysterious Jack Keiser. We also meet Heather Stallbridge for the first time.
The story was interesting and kept my attention throughout – I just didn’t want to put the book down and stayed up late to finish it!! The characters were really good with loads of attraction and passion between Jack & Heather.
The bad guys were truly dislikeable…. The storyline had suspense & intrigue, was fairly quick paced and moved along well. Was kinda disappointed when the book ended… I had enjoyed it so much!!
Set away from the world of the PowerUp! Gym, we don’t see as much as we normally would of the usual cast of favourite characters but that’s all good as this let us get more familiar with Jack and learn about all of his abilities….
Marie’s writing style is fab. She hooks you in with the plot, gives us great characters that we can’t help but like almost immediately (and even though they are all really good looking and hot as anything, they’ve got issues & worries that they need to work through) – her books put us through a whole range of emotions and most contain a good dose of humour too.
To be honest, before I started reading Marie’s PowerUp! books, I wasn’t at all sure I’d like them…. hadn’t really ready any m/m book before then. I’m so glad I picked up the first book in this series and I haven’t missed one since. Have loved all of the stories.
I’m really looking forward to Killer Thoughts – Ian & Owen’s story – which is coming out soon…
