I was supposed to be bumping shoulders with the best and brightest in chemistry at a London University. Instead, Iโm bumping into the shoulder pads of Tiff Uโs star football player. And Iโm his tutor.
Iโve never had many friends. The only one I thought I could count on ended up stealing my scholarshipโand then my boyfriend. Now, instead of spending my fall semester abroad, Iโm stuck here in Iowa, with zero funds and even less hope that Iโll get to study abroad at all before I graduate this spring.
Even worse? My mentor asked me to take on the impossibleโtutoring arrogant running back Logan Ford and helping him finally pass Chem 101. Apparently, the team needs him, and the governing board is cracking down on letting grades slide for athletes. Normally, Iโm all for accountability. Except now getting him to pass is my problem. And everyone on campus is looking to meโRachel Edwards, chemistry genius, bonafide introvertโto get it done.
Iโm about to give up before I start. But then I get a crazy idea. What if I can get Logan to be my date for the winter science ball? The one where the honors students compete in a pool for massive cash for the one who lands the hottest hottie on campus. Tiff U athletes have their fun, and we have ours too. It just doesnโt get the same attention. Probably because nobody has ever walked into the ball with someone like Logan Ford.
Last yearโs pool got all the way up to five grand, enough to pay for my semester abroad. But can I really land the running back? And if I ask him to pretend in exchange for passing his class, can I handle the way he looks at me, touches me, makes my insides incinerate like a chemical reaction?
And what happens if I forget that none of it is real?

About the Author
I tell stories for a living. Itโs a pretty great gig, actually. Each story has led to an amazing encounter, be it a new appreciation for the view from atop a polo horse to a deeper understanding of what it means to be the parent of a child with autism. Iโve told the stories of Olympians, comedians, doctors, teachers, politicians, activists, criminals, heroes and towns. You can check out a small sampling here or, heck, just Google me โ my journalism work is usually under Ginger Eiden or Ginger Scott-Eiden.
I published my debut novel, Waiting on the Sidelines, in spring 2013, and in August 2014, I published my fifth novel, a really raw college romance called This Is Falling. That book hit number one in teen on Amazon, and the entire adventure blew my mind! You see, this storytelling thing is my dream, the kind you wish for as a kid and pine after as you age. I took a leap to go after it, and Iโm so grateful I did. Iโm grateful for every single reader. And I hope to be keeping you up late at night with my words for a long, long time.
โBooks are a uniquely portable magic.โ

My favourite genre is PNR - yep, more than happy to admit that Iโm a bit of a #parawhores...... but small town is a very close second!!! In saying that, Iโll read and review a real mix of genres - from the better known authors to new-to-me authors and everything in between.
I hope you enjoy the posts and that they might lead you to some โnew to youโ authors.
Thanks for stopping by.
