Carly embraces life full on, balls to the wall, fast and furious, loyal, unapologetically girly, a porn star in bed, the most fabulous flirt with just a little penchant for drama and no filter whatsoever. She has a ‘joie de vivre’ that calls to you and draws you in. Her inner monologues every time she came into contact with Dik were hilarious and her interactions with her friends and his had me wishing I had a photographic memory because I damn sure want to use some of these one liners,

The relationship between these two is fascinating and flawlessly done, it’s as if Tara Sivec had a love child with Kristen Ashley and her name is K. M. Golland.

But Carly and Derek and this very talented writer totally stole my heart – it’s funny, it’s poignant, it’s friends, family, relationships, life, sex and chemistry all woven together so well that you cannot put it down, laughing so hard you reach the end and think “well fuck. Fuckity, fuck, fuck, fuck, I want more”………………………………………………………………
